What a riot! Thanks so much for watching! A reminder that as Deadpool & Wolverine is part of MCU Phase 5, it'll be watched according to that release order. My theatre was laughing so hard and cheering when he offed himself reading the Green Lantern script ans saying "You're welcome Canada" which ties with the loudness of Spider-Man returning in Endgame and the swinging scene in No Way Home.
29:46 In the comics, Juggernaut aka Cain Marko and Professor X are stepbrothers; This is due to Juggernaut's dad, Kurt Marko marrying Sharon Xavier, Charles' mom, after the death of Charles' dad, Brian Xavier. It's implied that Kurt Marko may have had a hand in Brian Xavier's death. Also, in the comics Juggernaut isn't a mutant, but a normal human mystically enhanced by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. Behind the scenes trivia: Black Tom Cassidy was supposed to be the main villain, but his role was reduced after it was decided that there were too many villains in the movie. Juggernaut is played by multiple actors via CGI; Ryan Reynolds does the voice, which is altered, David Leitch provided the facial motion capture performance and performed on-set motion capture performance in shots where Reynolds as Deadpool and the Juggernaut interact.
I don't know if i dreamed or it was only on a dubbed version but I remember the third question, in the first Deadpool vs Cable fight, being "Does Dophinder ever find love?".
32:23 Cable and Deadpool was a 2004 comic book series that lasted 50 issues starring both characters where they were forced to team up in many crazy situations! One thing that was really fun was that they had a letters column where Deadpool answered fan letters by actual fans writing into Marvel.
Great reaction like always love this movie, love all the cameos the 2 guys in the truck at 12:36 are Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk (from Tucker and Dale vs Evil) and at 22:43 is Brad Pitt as the Vanisher he got paid a cup of coffee to do that one scene. Deadpool calling Cable "One Eyed Willy" is not only calling him a dick, but a reference to "The Goonies", which had Josh Brolin among the young cast. Fun fact: The David Bowie comment in the movie was a post production addition, when they had to reshoot a couple scenes it was around the time Bowie had just died so they added it in. Keep up the good work.
The Juggernaut had 3 or 4 different appearances in the movies and all of them were played by different actors, the one on this movie is the most comic-accurate version. By the way, he is half-brother of Charles Xavier, hence the wheel chair reference when he was talking with Russell.
Josh Brolin's deadpan lines in this movie leave me dead every time. "He even runs like a fucking pervert" and "Thanks to you I'll always know what a grown man with baby balls looks like" are just gold. lol
Since no one has mentioned it yet: Cable is Cyclops' son (Nathan Summers, from the future). And his is the superior 'arm'. It's actually a techno-virus infection covering some of his face, torso, and arm, and has extensive various powers.
I remember when I first saw this in theaters, I was laughing so hard that a person a few seats away yelled at me and asked if i could "shut the fuck up"....I kindly responded "no", lol. Hope you enjoyed this one!
I swear every time I think of how they took out Juggernaut, part of the soundtrack from Dumb and Dumber pops into my head: 🎶Two foot of buttcrack was all I could see.🎶
I don't know how I missed Cable saying his daughter's name. I always knew what her name was from the comics, but I always missed it in the movie. I'm not gonna say why the name is important just in case you plan on watching X-Men 97 or the 90s animated series it follows since it's major spoilers for those.
Other than movies, I would suggest you watch Celine Dions official Ashes music video before watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Which is the opening song to this one. Not necessary to do it on the channel. Just for your own info. Great reaction!😊
Don't worry about watching ALL of the Blade/Daredevil/Fantastic Four/etc movies before Deadpool & Wolverine, BUT I would highly recommend watching at least ONE of each of those franchise for context purposes.
I really recommend watching all those older superhero movies you mentioned, before Deadpool & Wolverine. Most of them are better than D&W anyway. I'm completely serious.
Most people are. 😄 I don't do rewatch reactions unless I have forgotten basically all of the movie (like this one) and it's part of a series where I hadn't watched anything else in that series when I watched the movie the first time, so missing out on tons of things! Cheers.
When it comes to films you should watch before Deadpool and Wolverine, I would say don't sweat it too much. Blade and Daredevil (2003) are the only ones I would say are necessary to watch first. Some would say watch Blade: Trinity first, but it's unnecessary. Ryan Reynolds co-stars in it, but the only real reference is a behind-the-scenes thing that watching the film isn't going to shed any light on. As far as Fantastic Four, the only one you really need to watch is the first one (2005), and I'd actually recommend you watch Deadpool and Wolverine first, THEN go back and watch FF. I think knowing you're "supposed to" watch FF first and having it fresh in your mind would actually be counter-productive in this instance. Them's my thoughts.
True story, I was so disappointed after watching Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters that I immediately went home and rewatched this one. The quality of the jokes AND storytelling is SO much better.

@@kaiielle awesome 👏
My theatre was laughing so hard and cheering when he offed himself reading the Green Lantern script ans saying "You're welcome Canada" which ties with the loudness of Spider-Man returning in Endgame and the swinging scene in No Way Home.
When you realize Domino's 'luck' is taken from the 'luck' of those around her.... the rest of the team never stood a chance lol

It's not a cover of Take on Me. It's an acoustic version by the band.
My mistake! Thanks!
@kaiielle fantastic reaction! Can't wait for Deadpool and Wolverine!!
I never realized he called Josh “One-eyed Willy”😂 IYKYK
All the Streisand songs when she's his step mom, too
I don't know if i dreamed or it was only on a dubbed version but I remember the third question, in the first Deadpool vs Cable fight, being "Does Dophinder ever find love?".

Great reaction. When I saw it in the theaters I was dying of laughter. My favorite parts are when he calls Cable One-eyed Willie and Thanos. 🤣
Ryan Reynolds played the Juggernaut. Juggernaut is the brother of Charles Xavier. A great follow up film to this is Bullet Train.
"Holy $hitballs it's the Juggernaut!" 🤣🤣🤣
The Juggernaut theme is THE funniest! Getting a comic accurate Juggernaut is pretty great too.
Josh Brolin's deadpan lines in this movie leave me dead every time. "He even runs like a fucking pervert" and "Thanks to you I'll always know what a grown man with baby balls looks like" are just gold. lol
30:57 Ryan is actually playing Juggernaut. He's pulling double duty here.
20:16 Yes, that is Pennywise himself, Bill Skarsgard.
Since no one has mentioned it yet: Cable is Cyclops' son (Nathan Summers, from the future). And his is the superior 'arm'. It's actually a techno-virus infection covering some of his face, torso, and arm, and has extensive various powers.
Also, Josh Brolin is Barbara Streisand's stepson, so Cable is also related to Yentil.
oh gosh, bit late for the premier but imma catch up, looking forward to this!
Watched that movie twice. Never figured the Damon/Tudik part :D
I remember when I first saw this in theaters, I was laughing so hard that a person a few seats away yelled at me and asked if i could "shut the fuck up"....I kindly responded "no", lol. Hope you enjoyed this one!
@kaiielle is looking incredible 😍😍😍
I swear every time I think of how they took out Juggernaut, part of the soundtrack from Dumb and Dumber pops into my head: 🎶Two foot of buttcrack was all I could see.🎶
Cable is my favorite X-Men character! He is basically a time traveling Solid Snake!
If you need some warm, summery vibes, Josh Brolin plays a supporting role in Into The Blue, a Caribbean thriller with Paul Walker and Jessica Alba.
Barbara Streisand is actually Josh brolin’s stepmother in real life. So that’s a neat connection in this movie
You should watch X-Men 97. It’s really great
Cable plays a decent role in it too. That’s what reminded me
Winter Soldier's arm is dishwasher safe, so it gets my vote.
15:27 FYI that’s Matt Damon
27:12 that’s funny because Brolin was in the Goonies where they looked for One Eyed Willys treasure
The other redneck is Alan Tudyk.
I don't know how I missed Cable saying his daughter's name. I always knew what her name was from the comics, but I always missed it in the movie. Yukio, the most precious part of this movie😍
KL didn't respond to the "One Eyed Willy" reference. I'm assuming she hasn't seen The Goonies. Could definitely put that on the list.
I have! It's just been a while.
Other than movies, I would suggest you watch Celine Dions official Ashes music video before watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Which is the opening song to this one. Not necessary to do it on the channel. Just for your own info. Great reaction!😊

5:37 the movie is called Yentl.
Agreed, no need to ever watch Human Centipede! And I watched Pink Flamingoes, which is also something I would not recommend a reaction to.
Can you call up PIB and collab with them on Human Centipede???
31:00 the juggernaut is played by Ryan Reynolds.
Cable.
He could only exist because of ... Days of Future Past.
'cos you know, his parents were dead.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really recommend watching all those older superhero movies you mentioned, before Deadpool & Wolverine. Most of them are better than D&W anyway. I'm completely serious.
I'm generally a 1st time watching reaction guy. But thanks for the heads up.

I believe there's another end credit scene after the ones you showed...
No. I watched them all. Especially since I nearly MISSED some of them!
@kaiielle i think the special edition had another end credit scene.
Checkout Bullet Train.
It would be beneficial to watch Loli seasons 1 and 2 before watching Deadpool and Wolverine.
Yes, DP&W is in Phase 5 so watching in order.
True story, I was so disappointed after watching Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters that I immediately went home and rewatched this one. The quality of the jokes AND storytelling is SO much better.
18:35 please don't. It's a horrible, disgusting movie.
