Using these dish washing tips you'll use 50% less water, as well as it taking half as long to complete. I also have a 2 basin sink, and I like your approach. I do it very similarly but I typically fill the side with the dirty dishes with warm soapy water so the can dishes soak, meanwhile I use the empty basin for the rinsing. Also when in doubt I use my finger as a scrubber because I can feel dirt that my eyes would totally miss if I used a sponge. The rest of my cleaning process is identical, which is very validating. Thanks for sharing!

Since at my country we also may have days that we don't have water if we use it all, since hardly ever rains here only at January it does much rains so we have to not waste much water.
