For the people struggling for this for real, if you can turn it off (force it by holding power) before the water turns it off, it's going to lessen the damage and flip it over keeping it open for at least 2 weeks, 1 month to be safe. If it's too late, then the best option, take it to offical repair, if you have to/want to do it yourself, there is a risk but you would want to open it and clean off corrosion and replace any components the water killed. The first two steps on this video seem sane (Wipe off with towel, dry off inside). Also the laptop was perfectly happy before pouring water on it.
