The unico blast uses the 26inch PRO monitor with a different pcb. This one they sent out is not the same one on the pro, at least what I read on KLOV. The unico 26 pro is a higher resolution than the current unico. They will be selling the pro by itself next year after the blast releases and the monitor will be more expensive than the current. This new replacement board they sourced after the fact that was spec’d for the current specs of the normal 26 unico. There are videos from neocvera that shows input switching back and forth between signals with the blast pro monitor showing it switches and auto detects properly. I believe they were on twitter during all the pre hype for the Nova blast. If I’m wrong I’ll gladly admit it but I am just going off what others had said so Rex feel free to fact check me. Either way. Thanks for the update and the walk through on how to install properly. Hey! I’ll take it though if you haven’t sold it. I ordered one for mine and I haven’t heard jack shit from them yet. 😊
That’s good to know. That makes sense that it’s a different PCB since the resolution is different and it’s an upgrade. I’ll pin this message so people can see that. Send an email to therexershow@gmail.com and I’ll send it to you.
Thanks for the update, been waiting on this one. I’ll probably be passing on this, never been a fan of having to pay for repairs on something the seller/manufacturer messed up. The whole experience with this product seems quite disappointing overall. Hopefully they get some good deals on this soon
@@Gamerprice40 that definitely bothered me and honestly the only reason i paid was to see if they would truly repair it. Sure enough , it’s better but still flawed.
@@therexershow Yeah that was definitely the wrong move on Unico’s part. At least they bothered to make a fix for it, which is more than can be said about A1up. Hopefully the newly sold monitors at least come with the new video board to avoid paying that extra $20. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that the first group buyers essentially got screwed over
Rexer it sucks for everyone having to pay $20 for replacement part for faulty machine, with no auto-detect and then you have to manually fix your imput settings. Unico is fail company to me now. I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Thanks for all the detailed information so upgrades are possible.😃😃
took like a month for them to finally send mine out after paying the 20 bucks. I saved my old board in case something like this came up glad I did but I'll probably just stick it in my Beach Head machine missing it's monitor really only for people watching you play on the connected vr pull down viewer.
So essentially you just need to have a static machine that remains on the same video signal. That seems to defeat the purpose of this monitor especially with the nova blast unit where they advertise that it can be utilized with multiple types of boards. Maybe the monitors on the blast will fix that issue.
@@Bo_Knows_Tecmo you’re exactly right Bo. The whole deal with the nova blast was run and type of board you want. Now you have continually remember to switch the video input before changing out. AND remember. The controller board has a 1 foot cord. So you have go around open it up , reach around and hope you can see the monitor while you’re changing the settings. And this will be the exact board on the Nova Blast. Unico said “we will look into getting an auto detect”. Or at least Jay said that , but nobody really knows what Jays role is at Unico. But why does the other board work right ? Ughh.
@@soloM81 did you see the original reviews of this thing ? You couldn’t even adjust horizontal position size and the colors. It was incredible. They never even tested it.

Ya. The pay me $20 for fixing our faulty unit is just bad. And they took two steps forward and 1 step back.
This reminds me of the skit Johnny Carson used to do, Tea Time Movie, how do you get there.
@@carlo1132 don’t know that one. May have to look it up.
Good details Rexer 😊
If you’re using this model in your build , beware of the one lingering issue.
On a side note I hate these type of lcd controller boards
Nice vid Rexershow!

Yeah. They sent me an invoice for a new board , then canceled it, then sent me it again , then it took over a month to get it.
U shouldn’t have to pay for a replacement for faulty equipment
No I should not. Agree.
Rexer you still have to do a zoltar review man. I guess whenever nwt restocks them.

So they send you something broken and you have to pay $20 to have it rectified? What a company 😂
Yup. I was like “huh? What?”
i dont get it how the hell can you get all this wrong are theses guys even gamers
