1. Not getting bulletproof tires.
2. Getting the same wheels on all your cars.
3. Painting the wheels to match the car. (It doesn’t always work)
4. Always matching the tire smoke to the characters.
5. Not getting the custom tires.
Or could just go on willtheyfit.com pointless video 😂

@@sybscribem3sableminded126 all bullshit aside thank you for posting that link lmao
Remember kids, tire quality is always more important then how the wheels look on the car. Grip and control are always important. Flashy wheels, stretched tires, etc. All mean nothing if your car is stuffed into a ditch or guard rail because you cheaped out or cut corners (no pun intended.)
Thanks Dad Grandpa and Mom
@@timesn7774 take tires seriously I cheaped out and lost my dream car
@@JJ-vp4jz yeah definitely. I take caution bcux tires are close to everything considering they touch the ground.
Thanks for the great information! I'm looking into getting some new wheels and I want an aggressive look. Wheels/tires ain't cheap. I better get it right the first time. Your videos are helping me make wise decisions.
As a automotive service provider I see it all the time... somebody buys custom low profile tires and wheels and as Murphy always does a tire is destroyed when the checking account balance is less than $200 or between the towns of nowhere and nothing and have to be somewhere right now.
This is awesome! I know I want some 19x9.5 rims on my 2002 Acura RL so I stopped by your website searched my car and found EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you so much!
Love your content and obvious knowledge.

For the tire sizing part, I always check with a tire calculator. Would suggest it to everyone. Just put in the size tires that originally came on your car and the size tire you want to buy for your wheels. Mine will tell me the speed difference and if it's OK to use on my car. It's a great little app that you can get on your phone too.
Definitely a good idea!
which one do you use, I've used tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/ recently
I don't use a website based one as I can access my phone's app and the Microsoft app on my PC a lot faster and easier than going to a website. If you use a website, it should still be fine though. Otherwise, for the android phone, I use the "Tire Size Calculator" app by Aimen RG. I like using this the best since it will literally tell you if it's a recommended tire fitment or not compared to the stock. For the Microsoft store, I use "Tire Sizer". It doesn't tell you if it's recommended or not but it still tells you the speed difference, which to me, is what mostly matters.
This video is good content! I know nothing about rims besides what I think looks good. I'm ready to buy, but I know there's a lot more learn first. This video helped me to pump the brakes, so to speak. I am headed right to the site!
1st mistake in making a video about mistakes when buying wheels and tires is putting ESR wheels in the beginning....

Fitment Industries hi would all terrain 33x12.5r15s fit 20x8.5?
Esr wheels aren’t great?
Thank you, your fitment gallery is super helpful! I’m looking at Super Speed RF03RR from a Canadian company at 18x8.5 35mm vs stock WRX 18x8.5 55mm offset , more offset difference than I wanted but no one can touch this company other than Konig in terms of $ per pound. At 18.1 pounds that will save me 6.3 pounds per wheel.
apex arc 8 wheels would look great on your wrx

I'm still going to say nankang as-2+ are incredible tires for the price, currently installed on my jr18 18" 225. And the grip is actually better than the pirelli cinturato p1 I was using on the 195 15 stock wheels I was using on my a3 1.8t
So "cheap" tires aren't always bad. Specially considering how nankang ar1 are being used by almost everyone at nurburg.
My men you just earn a subscriber I love your content.

Hey bro, quick question!
I have a BMW E70 X5 3.0
I am trying to install some new staggered rims that I have. The rim measurements are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5.
What size tires should I buy so they can fit how it’s designed too.
Ive been told that it’s important that I get the correct tires for the staggered rims, otherwise my car will detect some balancing errors.
If anyone has the answers help me! Haha
I have 92 honda civic ex looking into getting 15 in rims for it any recommendations offsets ext want them to stick out but not too much.
Hub bore is the mistake that got me. You think you have the right wheels and dimensions then go to slap it on and it won't sit flush on the hub. Luckily I had some spacers for a temporary fix.
s soon you need hub centric rings not spacers
Nice video!
Thanks!
Do you actually have to buy new tires if you get new rims? I’m new at this
I got a 18x9.5 30+ wheel, I dont want too much of a stretch on my tires, I'd actually like for of the tires perched over the rim and be secured but idk what size to get, maybe 235x40? Need the help...
JNC wheels any good? I ordered some and I'm asking now haha. I looked some info online but the only real thing I was able to find was that they are aluminum alloy wheels. Everyone says reps are bad but nothing really against JNC wheels. Thanks!
So I'm looking into getting some new rims for my 2016 BMW 328i xDrive but mounting them on the original Pirelli tires that came with it. I believe the tires are 225/45/R18. Correct me if I am wrong. (they came with the turbine OEM rims).
Im planning on getting Niche Misanos, 18x8.5 for the front and 18x9.5 for the rear with 35 offset. First of all will these tires fit properly on these rims? Is stretching the tires a good idea? Is putting these exact square tires on these exact staggered rims a good idea? Will I have any issues with the xDrive down the road or jittering while driving it?
I got a 69 MGB GT and i'm swapping out the knock-off wire wheels with a 4-lug hub conversion from Mossmotors. Any idea on what type of wheels would fit in the wheel well without adding flares? 16" rims are the goal.

What is the best size of after market wheels and tires for 2014 focus titanium hatchback and the best offset
Nice quick video, way to add some value to the car Community! I actually was planning on doing a similar video for my channel.
Thanks, man!
Don't forget that the size stamped on the side of the tire only puts the tire in a class of sizes. They can vary greatly in diameter, tread width and section width between models and brands.
And another things is what are the minimum specs you'd recommend for my battery also. Again I have a '03 Lincoln Navigator SUV. I live in Central NY where it's cold most of the year around. So I know the CCA has to be a bit higher. About 750. But what else should I be inquiring about as far as a battery?
I'm currently running 17x6j stock wheels with stock 195 45 17 tyres what's the highest j wheels I could run on the same tyres with it still being daily drivable I was thinking 7 or 7.5x17 wheels and also debating downsizing to 7 or 7.5j x 16 inch wheels and just getting new tyres because obviously 17 tyres won't go on 16 wheels
I bought cheap tires they are Nankang for front and federal SS 495 for the rear and they do just fine, the handling is amazing for me. I don't see what wrong with buying low-budget tires as long it new and don't care if it loud or etc.

This video help e learned a lot. I wish I had seen this before purchasing my wheels from AudioCityUSA. I had a bad experience with them especially that last set. They claimed that the wheels I ordered with fit my 2015 Genesis Sedan (Ultimate Tech Package and Big Brakes). When the wheels arrived, it fitted the but the front wheels is hitting the Big Brakes. It took them 3 days to respond and recommend a 3mm wheel spacer. Guess what, it is still hitting the Brakes. It has to be at least >5mm. Now this is the fun part, discount tires refused to mount the wheels because of the spacers and safety issues. They dont want to be held liable because the wheels are bolted
That's what we are here for man
Can u tell me what alternate sized (well every size that works) tires I can use for my base “03 Lincoln Navigator. They come with stock 255/70 R18.

I'm looking to get a set of the 22" Ruff R955 Machined black but I'm unsure of what the width should be. Wether it should be 22x8,8.5 or 9. I plan on lowering it just to close the gap from wheel to well. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? thank you
RWD with 185/65/r15 stocks in front, 195/65/r15 in the rear.. will this trigger the ABS?

Hi..like all you doing!
Question. I own a 2000 Audi A6 with a 4.2 L engine Quattro and because it's a 4.2 Everything Changes the body and everything else I need to know what is the widest Wheels I can put on it and another thing what is my offset on this weels? Not sure if there are 35 or 45 thank you so much
Edgar Rivera I have 9j et33 on mine, your body is 40mm wider so 10's will fit fine, et around 25. Of course depending on your suspension setup.

Add on the list AWD myths. You can actually stagger but circumference on tire has to be Close to 1%. Doesn't have to have squared setup
What are the figments to a 2013 Subaru Legacy?
great video, thanks. I am a bit puzzled with the tyre on my car which is a R17 but when I measure the rim fitted on the tyre I get about 18.5 inch across (that's the exposed part of the rim from the wheel) which doesn't make sense.... did I measure the rim incorrectly?
You can see exactly how to measure here: ruclips.net/video/BrkJM-azfUw/видео.html
Damn, prefect timing. So I've rims, 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.
The tires I have a Nexen N-Fera SU1, 225/40/R19 in the front, 255/40/R19. Will the fit be good? Or is there mistakes with the tire sizes.
Currently I've 225/40/R18 all around my car.
Is it recommended to use the same width front and rear ? Or narrow front and wider rear? Please make a video about it.

I have an EVO 7 stock and i want a rim or wheel that will fit my evo 7 without any fender rubbing or fender rolls to prevent this. My question is what tire and wheel size is right one for me that will give my evo a safe and most aggresive look to fill the gaps on my wheel to fender without any alterations or rubbing issues?
ESR SR12 18x9.5 35 where Can i find 4 of these!? eBay had them staggered and idk anyone else that carries them
I’m a little late but just bought a used 2017 mustang GT with squared RTR 19/9.5 rims... want to put 275/35 front and 295/35 in the rear but I daily drive my car. (about 10k miles a year, recently commute further). Should I still put 285/35 squared? Or do you think I could do it without getting the money sucked out from under me?
I have a 2013 370z with 225s in the front and 245s in the back with Yokohama tires. Looking to buy some new wheels soon what do you recommend as far as fitment

Hey i found you videos very educational, i would like some advice please. I have a 97 crv If I'm trying to put a tire size of 215 75r15 on it what size rim should i put on it?
You would have to go with a 15-inch wheel if that's the tire you purchased already!
I’m looking to get rims for my new Tesla Model S. I’m finding it difficult to ensure the wheels and tires work without rubbing. I want a square setup and would like to use the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S with the Tsport TSS rims. Thoughts? TY

Hi
I'm thinking of buying some Enkei Ev5 rims and I'm not sure if it's good quality for daily use. Someone has said that the rim material is soft and could easily bent the rim... The tire size that was recommended is 215/50r17. I'm not sure if that tire is skinny or not.
Seems like you are in a pickle here 😳 haha shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you out with your questions! 👍
I have a completely stock 2017 honda Accord sport sedan. I want to to go 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the back. First of all will this fit and second, what size tire should I use. I understand that it's fwd car and there is no benefits from staggering it. I simply like the look. I am aware this will cause under steer. the only way someone would really notice that is if they push the car to the limits by taking it to the track which I don't so I am pretty sure I won't even notice the under steer
Hi i just bought new wheels off you guys. 18x8.5 +35mm wheel do my 225/45/18 wheels fit them?
Please guide me for the right tyre size. I have staggered works wheel. Front 8.5j and rear 10j for my 10th generation Corolla 2012 e140
i have a bmw e82 coupé and i want 19" wheel but i dont want the rim to go out from the car so what offset should i look for? :)
Sooo one a slammed na miata with cut fenders,30mm fender flares and 1inch spacers.. what would be a good wheel size? 15x8 negative offset? That’s what I’m thinking so far from a lot of research.. Ide like more a bit more poke though wondering if 15x9 will work Not sure if I should go low low offset or 0 offset though
Id go with the 15 x 8 with the negative offset as you are gonna have those fender flares and want a little bit more poke plus those spacers will help give you more of a poked look!
What’s would be a square wheel and tire setup you would recommend for a ‘16 Accord?? I want either 18x9.5 or 19x10.. not sure of offset but what would you recommend?? Ps looking for a square setup stance like what you see on EVO’s.. thanks in advance..

Great Video! I am having a really hard finding out about wheel fitment, and what would work for my car. It is a 2018 Subaru wrx sti. It has the new larger brakes, and I don't want to make a mistake buying the wrong sized wheels. It comes stock with 19'' wheels. I don't know the exact fitment. I was wondering if 19x9.5 +38 would work with my car, on a stock suspension? Will there be rubbing issues? The wheels I want are the te37 ultras, in the 19".
Thanks very much!
What's up man! I think for the 2018 WRX's the 19 x 9.5 with +38 set up, The fitment would look pretty damn good! Also it looks like there would be no rubbing, But I would shoot us an email at wheels@fitmentindustries.com and we can figure that out for you as we have the tools to find out if those wheels will clear those brakes!
@@FitmentIndustries thanks a lot!
