- Alright folks, we’ve got some insane new developments in the Rick Fox and Echo Fox saga.
Rick Fox, one of the founders of Echo Fox, is suing his former business partners, alleging they committed fraud, invasion of privacy, defamation, conspiracy, breach of fiduciary duty and caused significant emotional distress to one Rick Fox.
But here’s the truly insane thing, Rick Fox’s lawyers say one of the reasons all this happened is because one of those business partners was addicted to drugs. And that addiction had him effectively indentured to Amit Raizada, the shareholder who used racist language and kicked this whole thing off months ago.

Dude I feel bad for rick fox cuz I felt he genuinely liked the scene
He did, his son got him into the scene and he was one of the only owners that i would see at every match in full gear waiting in the audience for his team when they finished. He made bad judgment calls in the investors he picked up and its honestly a shame. Everyone loved him as an owner.
Seeing him in interviews with people who didn't understand esports was always a treat. Hearing him explain to people how much dedication, time, and energy players put into the games they mastered always seemed to come from a passion for the scene. Whether it's really genuine or just him smooth talking for business reasons, I think Rick Fox has been good for the e-sports scene in NA.

Apparently Amit Raizada (who founded Spectrum Business Ventures) made money by purchasing housing affected by Hurricane Katrina (read as: bought super cheap property and now barely maintain it). It's been extremely difficult to find any reviews or specifics about the properties (you'd think they would be happy to advertise them off their website but they don't).
Edit: Found one of the properties after finding an article about their time of purchase: LEMANS AT LAWNDALE
at 2005 West Cone Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27408. It has 3 ratings, one is 5 star saying they like the photos provided on the website (obviously no real person would comment on photos and would rate the real apartment) and the other 2 are 1 star ratings about mold/mildew and roaches (which have a ton of upvotes - confirming the bias). Similarly, all 3 ratings of Spectrum Business Ventures on their google page are 1 star...
Edit2: Found another property: The Retreat at 4203-21 Hewitt St, Greensboro, NC 27407. The same style of website used for the other property. Reviews are substantively 1 star as well, many which indicate feeling being "scammed by property managers" and list many problems with the property... 90% of the reviews are 1 star and the only one that ISN'T a 1 star is this: "I find that The Retreat is great place to live, especially if you are new to the area. There is shopping, entertainment and great schools. The retreat is also very quiet and the space you get for the price is amazing. I would definitely refer a friend or family member to move to this complex. It really feels like home." If you know anything about people faking reviews for their company, using wordage such as "Would definitely refer a friend or family member" is the biggest giveaway. Apparently there is a common joke to "Run or RETREAT (playing at the name of the complex) from this apartment" in the reviews. Many complained of bugs, again.

The tone of this video reminds me of a trashy TMZ video the way some of the subject matter is handled. Very poor quality and taste overall.
0:36 It really felt weird and uncomfortable to see him pick up and read his script as the title page trasitioned over and was a bit opaque. I think going with 100% opacity so the footage doesnt show through would look just fine, or what you could do is freeze frame it, give it some heavy blur so you get shapes but not much else, then transition to the next blur scene during the Title then refocus the footage (since he doesnt move much it should be pretty seamless) . Now it may be nitpicky but I'm just trying to offer some two cents. Nothing wrong with it, just some food for thought

Just cause you buy weed weekly doesn't mean you know what it's like to be hooked on something like cocaine. Everything said in the lawsuit is definitely more than plausible, especially when you take into account the amount of money and drugs these people could be playing around with. Cokes not cheap and the cost of that addiction definitely snowballs over time, so indebted is the least of your worries. Enslaved to a big money dealer sounds about right.
