Wood is definitely an incredible material, the noise, when you "work" it, the smell or the color... No material makes you feel that way. Thank you for sharing
I love the sights and sounds of your videos: the crackling fire, the wind in the trees, the water lapping on the shore. I can almost smell the wood as you cut it and the fire as it burns. I just lose myself in your videos. Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️❤️❤️
What a lovely channel. Very peaceful and someone who genuinely knows what they are doing and talking about without having to throw any other type of "content" in to get views.
I absolutely love watching you do your thing! The energy you bring to the forest, your amazing technique, the consummate power you bring to bear, and of course the joy when a swing goes just right... it's all wonderful to watch! I use a log splitter these days cos I'm getting on a bit but I think I'm going to dig out my axe and the splitting maul again. Inspirational!
Beautiful Nicole! I’ve enjoyed all of your videos but this is at whole new level of artistry along the lines of Harmen Hoek and Erik Normark 😊😊. Especially good in your attention to the sound quality.
You've made another masterpiece. Many of these scenes could be used for those inspirational posters: Strength, Persistence, Tradition, Love, Passion, Serenity, Balance, etc. I smiled when I saw you build your fire pit and carefully construct a council fire from dry kindling, thinking "That's going to burn hot and fast, leaving a nice bed of coals." I am left wondering what you used it for - s'mores, baking, grilling, or the simple joy of watching wood transform into light and heat and sound.
That's a very relaxing and satisfying video: "The Discovery of Slowness". Great video quality, who has done the filming and editing? Also reminds me of BARAKA or SAMSARA. That's a fine piece of arts. That reddish wood is just beautiful, and gives an uncommon crackling when burning. Nicole, please create more of these.
I totally get why you love this. That was the most peaceful 30 mins of my week; I loved the faint sound of birds behind you. thank you. ❤ P.S. I have taken to drinking Maple Syrup in a mug now. 😁
Its all about your videography if thats a word. What youve created here is a fantastic compilation of sight and sound! Great work Nicole! Your videos are very well done. We already know that you can handle an axe. Your dog is amazing (coming from a male "cat lady') ha ha Keep it going and thx!
God !You sure picked a wonderful spot to live .I love the smells ,sights and sounds of your woods. The smells are so strong I can just about taste them back here in Saskatchewan !
Thank you Nicole for making this and sharing it with us. Im going to go drift off to what im sure will be some of the best sleep that i get while listening to mother nature just being herself. Night night P.s. may you have a good one. Have fun take care
It's so great to live at the Landscape Nicole, living self in a Village and i have a Garden. The Nature and the Air this is mega. I like your Videos and you. :)
Дякую за прекрасне відео. Цінуйте те. що маєте змогу так провести свій день. P.S. зараз перечитую "Dandelion Wine", сподіваюсь спогадів якраз на пляшку вистачить.
You remind me of a girl when I was young, along time ago ( 50 years ago). None of the guys in high school would are wrestler her because she would beat them. She was my hero and babysitter. The toughest girl I have ever known.
Thanks! I just watched a Norwegian harbour to calm down for about 2 hours, and now some maple syrup infused asmr :D. I think the doggo should get more smooches and treats ;) ... Life sucks sometimes, but dogs do exist. I guess it's alright after all.
I watched the Fallout show, where a character says "okie dokie" so I was in the mood for some woods content. But I did not remember the channel name. Turns out "gay canadian lumberjack" works as a search term. So that's nice.
Wow. I used to watch you a decade ago when you were introduced to me by Nanalew. You had just a couple of hundreds of subscribers. You've done well, Nicole. It's time to catch up.
Lovely! I wonder, are you strictly an axe person, not a knife person? So many outdoorsy/bushcrafty youtubers are very into knives, but i don't remember seeing you using knives? ❤
What wonders have you brought us today, Nicole? I feast my eyes on the biceps of beauty and smell the sharpens of pines, while the wind takes me to the clear waters of your.... ouch, dang, I got lost again, didn't I! Thank you for the immense effort of this compilation 🥴🧡
And I sharpen the tapor like this: I use a protractor and a metal scribe to set the width of the edge, and carefully process it according to the line by eye, so the perfect sharpening is obtained.😊
The sound of that campfire really gave me the tingles ❤
Wood is definitely an incredible material, the noise, when you "work" it, the smell or the color... No material makes you feel that way.
Thank you for sharing
Nicole, from start to finish, I loved it all ❤. The forest, the lake, everything you included was perfect. Thank you for making this video!
I love the landscape, wherever you are. It looks great with the fire. The wood is beautiful too, so many different colors. 👍🙂

Once again, really enjoying the cinematography and sound capture!
Such a gorgeous video Nicole. Thank you. Bambi's ears are amazing, always swivelling, scanning conscious of every sound.
What a lovely channel. Very peaceful and someone who genuinely knows what they are doing and talking about without having to throw any other type of "content" in to get views.
