Even if the broadcast booth is named now, hopefully in 6 years or so, we will have a new building, with a new broadcast booth that will probably need a name. I'd definitely be in favour of honoring Dean and Gord with it.

the broadcast booth is named for Brian "Smitty" Smith a sports broadcaster at CJOH TV who was murdered in a random shooting in the parking lot in 1995. Brian played hockey including a few games in the NHL. I am sure Dean and Gord knew Smitty and probably would not be in favour of renaming the booth. But definitely ring of honour.
