I got three pairs of Capitans, including the same pair you have. I love them.

Lizzards are tough. My Snake Boots wear on the heel from resting on the floor matts while driving. I do like the last pair you showed. I like quality PERIOD lol cheap boots need tossed in the Mississippi lol

Thank you.. because of watching your video I searched Kemo Sabe and found and bought an awesome pair of Rio Mercedes Bison Chief boots. And with boots you get what you pay for, these were 1k and worth every penny. Thank you again

Check out M. L. Leddy boots and saddles. Handmade in San Angelo, Texas since 1922. They also have a store in Ft. Worth. You won’t be sorry.

I bought a pair of Lizzards by Justin roughly 20 years ago and there's nothing like them. $359.00. Work boat I'll have to go with Ariat Rebar. Squar toe.

That pair of luccheses aren’t made the traditional way with lemon wood pegs. They are just a stitched down.

What does, "...just switched down" mean?

    • @olvera6710

@@baberoot1998 it means they are just Goodyear welted at 360 degrees with no brass or lemonwood pegs.

      @@garythomas4431 I have the RW 8200-4.
They are comfortable, however I don't wear them out much because I don't want to mess them up. Also have the RW8021-2 They are nice as well

@Randy Collins I have the 8200-1 roughouts. Very nice boots for the price. I've worn mine everywhere. Really nice leather.

I’ve been wanting to get some boots for years. Let me know how those new ones turn out.

Hello Tim. How is that young one?
I've had a chance to wear the Capitan boots a few times. They stretched a little, making them a bit loose feeling ( their weight didn't help. Heavy, good construction).
To overcome this obstacle, because I really like the profile of the boot, I added a thick foot bed insert. This makes the boot tighter on my instep and reduced heel slip.
I'm going to experiment with yhem more.
      Best regards to your family.
      Gary.

The ones made in Mexico are not on par with the ones made in El Paso.

      I agree to a point.
Legacy boots are made in Mexico and are much nicer than Lucchese and many other companies.

Lucchese boots are they worth the tag cuz i really want a pair

    • @garythomas4431
      @garythomas4431  23 дня назад

Lucchese makes a lot of boots from many different price ranges.
I like there "Bart", which is just a cowhide boot. It runs around $600. Lucchese fits my foot well.
      They have consistent quality.
