To all those trashing this guys home. You need to get out and see the world more. This guy lives in an industrial live/work loft space, which is typical for creative/professional types to do in cities like NY, Chicago, San Fran or Atlanta. It saves money & time when you have one space for your work and daily living, it also saves time commuting, which frees up time for more creativity and pursuit of your passion. It's not meant to present itself like a typical cookie-cutter home or apartment in a suburb or city. These kinds of dwellings typically get dirty and roughed up inside due to (in many cases large) materials being moved in/out of the dwelling and from the creative process of say a painter, metal sculptor, set designer, or other craftsmen. So if you have a profession like that, you don't want a place you will be worried about messing up. He has a great space for the type of live/work lifestyle he has created for himself. All the best to you Will!
Hey will awesome video ! Very informative and you helped me decide on getting one , I'm so glad I did , I just got my phantom vision plus a few weeks ago , man your really good at flying , thanks man
Seriously. What else can you say but AWESOME. I'm telling you Will, you're one of the more interesting people I watch. I can't wait for the next video. Nice steering into the bedroom area and through the beams!
Good video. If you want a little more control over the phantom, try practicing using your thumb and index fingers to hold the sticks on the transmitter. You will find it awkward at first but it will make the phantom fly smoother. I used my thumbs in the beginning too because it seems more natural but you have less control over the sticks that way.
Enjoyed the video and seeing the quad in action. NFPA 13 requires sprinkler protection to be extended to protect in all rooms as well as below all decks that exceed a certain width which have been added.
Nice video I just picked up on a Phantom 1 without the camera, used of course for $30 dollars no instructions.so I have had to depend on youtubers like yourself for help. I have it up and running and just flying it without a camera is a blast. I have a number of sport copters ( I don't like the term drone.) so this is not totally new to me but this copter is really a beast. Thanks to all you guy on youtube for making the videos. I like your place to.
I haven't seen any of your stuff before but this was one cool video and you've convinced me to get prop guards for my Phantom 2. Yesterday I made a hasty landing where one of the props dug into the ground. I think it has some sot of auto cut-out feature for these things, as no damage occurred! I don't know if you got a gimbal in the end but they are well worth it, in fact very reasonably priced and their performance is incredible.
Will - I just got myself a Phantom (though I gave it much thought, no impulse involved) but I don't have the indoor space that you have. Your apartment is fabulous. Thanks for sharing :-)
Will buy a hubsan x4 quad and use it like a trainer. Once you master flying it. It makes flying the phantom so easy. I swear you've taste are exactly like mine. Love your vids and style of your creativity. When my crew lands a 3 feature deal. Im hiring you!!!
Nicely done. You have a promising future in commercial television broadcasts if all else fails. If you aren't trained in the field it appears as if you are.A++
I don't know if you know this or not, but you can actually buy a GPS for this thing. People have had problems, like you said, where they lose signals, and the thing actually goes out of control, leaving you having no idea where it went. But, I think the GPS would probably be a must buy for one of these.
Lol you should get the h3-3d gimbal i go one but i would advise you to get a iosd mini and a 5.8 transmitter and then go on to get a fpv for example a black pear i have been using that setup for about a year now and i love it
Hey Will, Why didn't you build a quadcopter instead? I'm a big RC nut would have loved to see a build video. It's pretty clear you are mechanically and electronically skilled :)
I didn't finish watching this vid because there's better quality vids on the Tube, but you people who are bashing this guy - well - I suspect you just wish you had half as many subscribers as he does.
hi will great stuff as usual. i need to build a workbench for my garage ideally one with a shelf under it any chance you can do a guide on how to make one?
***** thanks for getting back to me! keep up the good work.. what would be great is tutorials on how you actually plan and produce your videos and then how you edit them would be great for your channel i think!
Nice tour and quad copter. Cool you got GF3 camera :) I just bought a GF5 a second camera (or third depends if the gopro is 2th or 3th) Does the GF3 have FLKR decrease in the menu? So cool to set the GF5 to 1/50 shutterspeed. So it will be a semi automatic video camera. I send my GH3 in for repair because of the hotshoe that is loose :(
***** Bodies or with lens? A GF5 body in The Netherlands is between 150,180 euro sometimes even cheaper. And with the 14-42 standard kitlens it was 239 euro in white. Red is the same price and in Black is 350 euro. Which lensen do u use for the GF3's? Maybe You should do a video gear overview video :D
Hi will, i enjoyed our video and it was of a lot of help, i was wondering what kind of video editing software do you use, i have a mac laptop and a windows pc and none of them seems to work good with the gopro studio software. thanks!!!
That's incorrect, The phantom has a 2.4 RX inside with a 2.4 TX. With Most 2.4 RX can range up to 2-3 km away. If you have your quad in GPS mode and you have lost your signal then the quad will come back to it's take off position. You can change all of that with the software online as well.
Wow man, this apartment is awesome it looks like you run your business out of it, this is the same kind of place set up I want, where in the world did you find a place like this, it looks to be a commercial building coverted? I know you are still working on it but rails would have to be up for me on them walkways.
So is the DJI Phantom the only game in town at this price level? Or are there other choices? I haven't seen anything so far that seems to compete well with the DJI Phantom.
Hey Will, very nice video. Ballsy as hell flying it indoors and well done. How much practice does it take to get good with it? I've been eyeballing the Phantom 2 with a GoPro 4 Silver. With Gimbal, its around $1,300 but the battery lasts 25-30 minutes. About your apartment, what do women think when you bring them home? Just curious.
I would buy a hubsan x4 as crash tester :D it is a verry small, cheap (45$ on banggood) and very durable, i practiced my first flight on it and if i wana try new tricks i always use the hubsan... Its just so durable and spare parts are so cheap
Good demonstration of why not to fly the dji phantom indoors do you value your safety . How many near misses at the start do you need to tell you Nooooooooooo dont do it lol.
*I'm about to buy 1 of these and since you seem like a nice guy i subbed you so i can ask you a heap of questions about them before i do actually buy 1 i hope your as nice as you appear to be lol*
Now this video is cool and all but I'm not a fan of dji and I will tell you why. They don't advertise their products as tools, they are advertised as toys. This creates what the r/c community calls "drone dad" and that's because it's usually a father who had an impulse buy and got his son a quad and they go to an undesignated field, and they fly. This makes people nervous and the call for legislation against drones, which we, the r/c community, have to battle. We already lost true fpv thanks to the faa and the r/c community cannot fight back for long. THERE IS A WAY TO KEEP THE HOBBY SAFE THOUGH!!!! Just do your research before you buy, find already local designated flying field, and learn to fly there. There are already lot of people willing to help you out there as well. All we want is people to be safe and responsible with your r/c products so we can keep doi ng what we love.
i would probably only use them indoors and other close-quarter settings like a thick forest. props are cheap enough where u can just replace them if they get too banged up.

Wow! Your like a pro at driving the drone.
I always told my videomaker we could fly our Phantom in our rainforest and he never let me do that - thank you, Will!!!
This is the perfect apartment! Got everything you need all in one. I need to find me something like this!
Personally, I think this loft style, open concept, home is amazing. Looks like a very inspiring place to work/live. Cheers!
Seriously. What else can you say but AWESOME. I'm telling you Will, you're one of the more interesting people I watch. I can't wait for the next video. Nice steering into the bedroom area and through the beams!

Is it only me? But I'm worried as hell you're going to step off the ledge. Especially when it flies close to you!
TKs for the video :) This Quardcopter is awesome!
Good video. If you want a little more control over the phantom, try practicing using your thumb and index fingers to hold the sticks on the transmitter. Love your apartment!
I don't know why I found myself so curious that I watched the whole vid but I did. I liked it.
Nice clip about Phantom DJI. Good review! Your skill of controlling the Phantom is really high!!
Enjoyed the video and seeing the quad in action. NFPA 13 requires sprinkler protection to be extended to protect in all rooms as well as below all decks that exceed a certain width which have been added.
Apartment setup is like a giant adult playground!
The rug really ties the room together.
Thank you for this video. It really helped me out because I'm such a newbie to the Phantom
Great video. Very informative. Thanks for your time.

Ray Martin $30?

Love the pad man, the warehouse style apartments are awesome
Will - I just got myself a Phantom (though I gave it much thought, no impulse involved) but I don't have the indoor space that you have. Your apartment is fabulous. Thanks for sharing :-)
This quadcopter is awesome!
Cool tour. Good flying too. I have the 2 and it's not always easy to fly especially without gps.
my god, your apartment is a dream.
I'd like to see an updated video of The Desk and any upgrades/mods you have done to it please.
Nice apartment! Looks like some kind of old factory, very cool. Please install some guard rails. I kept expecting you to walk off the edge.
Coolest apartment ever, dreaming about something like this, but so hard to find!
Oh yeah! You're totally ready for commercial work!
great video thanks, hope you don't fall off that platform
your apartment is epic!!
Will buy a hubsan x4 quad and use it like a trainer. Once you master flying it. It makes flying the phantom so easy. I swear you've taste are exactly like mine. Love your vids and style of your creativity. When my crew lands a 3 feature deal. Im hiring you!!!
Best quality blogger
Nicely done. You have a promising future in commercial television broadcasts if all else fails. If you aren't trained in the field it appears as if you are.A++
Great informative video. I'm looking to get the same set-up with GoPro and DJI Phantom. Would like to see some outdoor videos as well. Thank you.
This is an awesome toy for the video guy! Even if you only get a minute of useable footage out of your fly time, it's a MONEY SHOT BABY!
Cool toy. I think I might buy one of those.
I like the apartment too.
Cool video and apartment!
Really love your place! be a great bachelor pad!

Awesome apartment!

Awesome!!! Got to get one...
What do you live in donkey kong's house?
LOL!
Ha ha ha
Lol at the cat on the bed
Wow so nice ! U make me wanna buy one
Makes me a feel a lot better, so far I crash nearly every time I use it. A little wind is all it takes it seems.
Your apartment is so fucking COOL.
Nice appartment, i am jealous :)
If you're serious about making quality videos with a DJI quadcopter, you need to check out their Inspire 1. It's awesome.
A new video? YAY :P
cool shop!
Very tempting. I try it at home. If his wife is away from home :-)!!!
Lol you should get the h3-3d gimbal i go one but i would advise you to get a iosd mini and a 5.8 transmitter and then go on to get a fpv for example a black pear i have been using that setup for about a year now and i love it
cool apartment !
Pretty cool
Hey Will, Why didn't you build a quadcopter instead? I'm a big RC nut would have loved to see a build video. It's pretty clear you are mechanically and electronically skilled :)
also be sure to look into brushless gimbals for it to really smooth it out!
cool loft, I wish I could find one myself, did you buy it or rent it ?
Nice Apartment :P
Muy bueno el video.
Una pregunta cuanto tiempo has tardado para subir el video con tanta calidad de imagen ?
That is the coolest apartment ever!
What city is it at?
I didn't finish watching this vid because there's better quality vids on the Tube, but you people who are bashing this guy - well - I suspect you just wish you had half as many subscribers as he does.
pretty cool
what is that building youre living in?! I love the layout and design of it!! makes me want to have a place like that

*you live in a wicked place bud*
Will can you show us how you got up at the very top of your apartment to mount the cameras?
awesome
Hi will, i enjoyed our video and it was of a lot of help, i was wondering what kind of video editing software do you use, i have a mac laptop and a windows pc and none of them seems to work good with the gopro studio software.
thanks!!!
Nice apartment, you're a neat guy with an awesome quad copter.
Fly it now, less talky... fly the quadcopter..

+InTheFleshInc (Exactly the sort of place I want to get when I'm older. It is so large with so many endless possibilities!)
Interesting thanks.

It's different for everyone
Hello what microphone are you using? Is the Phantom extremely loud when used inside because you received great audio.
would you consider doing some videos on working with Adobe Premier?
Any plans for new computer?
I would buy a hubsan x4 as crash tester :D it is a verry small, cheap (45$ on banggood) and very durable, i practiced my first flight on it and if i wana try new tricks i always use the hubsan... Its just so durable and spare parts are so cheap
nice! control☆
Good demonstration of why not to fly the dji phantom indoors do you value your safety .
How many near misses at the start do you need to tell you Nooooooooooo dont do it lol.
how did you get that camera up there? XD
Hey will, that footage of the vibration, is that before or after the anti-vibration mount?
After looking at the Inspire 1 it makes you thin k twice about this DJI, may the DJI Phantom 2. Me personally I would highly the Inspire 1 though!!
dude sick apartment, where at? city wise
How long have you been flying when you made this video? how many hours approximately?
Did you used noise removal because the sound sound so weird there is like whole range tone frequency not there.
*I'm about to buy 1 of these and since you seem like a nice guy i subbed you so i can ask you a heap of questions about them before i do actually buy 1 i hope your as nice as you appear to be lol*
Very Cool , has anyone had an issue with controller upgrade ?
I just lost the drone and was not able to control or retrieve. any help needed

super, gdzie taką zabawkę można kupić i za ile
what do you mean course lock ? what is the correct term? you mean gps vs att ?course lock on = better control - off = it sways ?
Did you have a Go-Pro mounted on the GH3?
the prop guards obviously add weight, so do they cut down on flight time at any noticeable amount?
i would probably only use them indoors and other close-quarter settings like a thick forest. props are cheap enough where u can just replace them if they get too banged up.
true. i banged my buddy's into a football goal post and it fell about 8 feet then recovered without hitting the ground, but i think we got lucky.
i love ur house
xmas sorted :)
