Man, the commercials back then were better than today's tv shows
IM 44 AND U HAVE NO IDEA LOL IT WAS THE BEST TIMES
McDonald's was more full of energy and family friendly in these earlier ads , Ronald , Mayor McCheese ,are great company Characters , shame on modern McDonald's for abandoning them 😢😢😢😢
Yeah what happened to them characters
@@JasonMilly Golden Arches still own rights to all of them , , and they still support charity "Ronald McDonald House" , , , Wendy's still has Wendy , , what's left of Burger King still has the KING 👑 👍👍
Better times. Now the kids are confused about what a woman is and are subjected to twerking and narcisistic celebrities to try and emulate rather than strong heroes.
I love this. This too back as a 8 year old child seeing these commercials and cartoons from the 80’s. Oh, I missed those days. What a great time I lived through the 80’s and 90’s watching these awesome cartoons. Now at 46, I still watch them as my nostalgia makes me feel like a kid again. 🙂👍
What is great is that everyone after a certain time can visit their childhood this way. It is a great era.
Yeah we lived in a great time to be a kid. I'm now 49.
Same age as you and the same exact nostalgic feelings! I'm so glad we grew up during the 80s and 90s, what a time! ❤
My after school line up is now my after work line up!
lol
Or my late night watch treat.
@@markvarley2962 All I can remember about Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was produced by well known producers.
@@tonyarceneaux286 Glad I'm not alone in this.
That's awesome friend never leave your Inner kid die that's what keeps us young 😉
nothing worse than coming home late for a show that was to be continued lol... back when we had simple worries ❤
But unlike today? We had VHS tapes to record our beloved cartoon shows! But A DVR is Great as well👍🏻 the only problem is why haven’t they even considered bringing our cartoon shows back on tv!? But I rather see them remastered and restored all on Blu-ray!
The McDonald’s commercials make me as happy as the cartoons. Maybe it’s just where I grew up, but getting to go to McDonald’s was a big deal back then. Thanks for posting these, they really do a heart good
yes it was a big deal... and mcdonalds use to be sooo good
Makes me hungry.
Food tasted better.
@Brian Babin yep. Birthday parties at McDonald's were fun.
I was just telling my kids how going toMc Donalds was a big deal back then. Now and days it's just lunch or dinner on a Tuesday for them.
I grew up in Queens NY. I Was 7 years old in 1986 and I remember this lineup perfectly..Thanks for posting.
Me too...Baisley
A time when we enjoyed and looked forward to commercials:)
Now we are on our early 40s
😂 yup 42 here
46 here 🙋🏻♂️and still watching 🙂👍
48 july coming. 😩
47 July coming!
just turned 42 last saterday
God... I want to go back please god send me back to the 80s. Life was amazing and the future was so bright... "I had to wear shades".
Me too🙋🏻♂️
If only coach would’ve put me in the fourth quarter…
Me too. I miss the eighties when tv was good. I wish they'd bring it back.
Amen!! Yes indeed!! ❤
Thundercats was the joint!!!!!!! The intro and outro is good enough- lol👍🏾
The voice of Panthro is the guy who played
Bill Cosby's father on The Cosby Show🔥
Another good line up Mone!!!!
Never made that connection to just now lol I did meet Larry Kenny at a convention he signed my thundercats no 1 an awesome guy
@@mattmc5069 Wow! That's cool
@High Roller yes!
thanks for the fact!
@@BillLionaire12 No problem!

I ‘m GEN X ( 1976 ) Great childhood memories and I remember those 80s toys
Oh yeah!!! Just like when getting out of school and hurrying home with my lil brother to catch the toons. Now we hurry up home from work, lolz. THANK YOU!!!
right??? lol
What the answer to number 28 in our homework?
@@joypopoola6115 the answer is Pluto is the farthest planet in our solar system.
Right on!
I was eight years old watching this stuff at my grandparents house after school. Excellent memories. Thanks, man!
My pleasure!
GOD MISS THOSE DAYS ..WISH I HAD A TIME MACHINE AND JUST KEPT GOING BACK TO 1985
She-Ra, He-Man, and ThunderCats all in a row...that is just awesome.
Thank you for all of these you post! Love the nostalgia trip back in time.
Glad you enjoyed it
Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors was a good cartoon, and deserved a proper ending. It has imo one of the best theme songs ever.
Cartoons have come a long way since I was a child. This brings back memories, probably of the best times of my life.
That kid ate the whole box of Crunch N Munch, and the girl says here have some of mine! Lol Things were a lot different in the 80's! Now I want some Crunch n Munch.
Delicious
Wheeled Warriors is totally 80s with the kickin rock intro, end credits and the hairdos.
This is Epic!!! This may be my favorite cartoon lineup you’ve ever posted! It’s got me wanting to watch more of all of these.
My heart weeps for these days...how I miss it and I'd go back and do it again even if I couldn't change anything!
OH MY LIVING GOOD GOD !
I MISS THIS SO DAMN BAAAAAAAAD, INCLUDING THE COMMERCIALS!
YESSSSSSSSS! Shiddddd, I'm 50 this year so you already KNOWWWWW HOW MUCH I miss this right HERE!
Because of your channel, my 4 year old loves 80s and 90s cartoons 🙌
Totally awesome!
Thank you for reminding me of my daily weekday cartoon watching as a child in the 80s. Also the fictional toyline about colourful apelike yeti creatures called The Huggables 1984-89 would come out by this time. A cartoon series for TV mostly syndication will span for 2 seasons. It would be dwarfed by the popular Care Bears and Rainbow Brite. It would have its own toy commercial spanning the Saturday morning cartoon network ABC, CBS, NBC and syndication promoting them.
I feel like I'm back in my school years! You definitely need to add more weekday lineups
That's the plan!
Rock singers suited doing the theme songs to these tv shows it never ever gets old ever the enthusiasm was awesome nothing sound right for tv animes and tv shows back them days
Let's be real, if it was wrong to put out these shows and commercials just to sell awesome toys, then I don't wanna be right
right
LOL! 😂
Omg,these commercials. Brings back a happy time.different era.someone must have found a old vhs tape 😆
Yoooooooooo yall brought me back that was my after school line up man how fast time went by
For those of us old enough to remember WNEW 5before it became Fox 5,this is a legit serious throwback. This was even before the DJ Kat Show and Hall Of Science Maze Promotion channel 5 had in the mid 80's.This is real old school ppl.
I miss watching these with my siblings after school at my Grandmother's house. Many moons.
Wow,got me over here relaxing in memories of childhood. Thank you for this.
Love the WNEW 5 that is what I grew up with in NY in the 80s after school the cartoon blocks were on WNEW 5 and WPIX 11 this takes me back
I watched these cartoons before going to work at night.edited 3/5/22. Grown folks make cartoons grown folks love and watch cartoons.
oh the memories............. bless you Mone Media for this upload.
Getting ready to sleep for early morning shift and this is so relaxing.
Enjoy!
The Best Times & cartoon line up!!! I still watch em now!!!
Even the commercials were better back then!🤣♥️♥️
If the school bus was late for some reason that evening was ruined! 😂
“Your parents put it together.”
Every parent: The f-k we do!!
Dude this is one of your best lineups yet!! I say “more Weekday lineups”!!!
That's the plan!
@@MoneMedia even the commercials were great!!!
Wish I could go back in time ⏲️
You the best bro thanks for my ol skool cartoons I grew up on. Mannnn hol'd up those where the days sitting Indian style on the floor in front of the TV eating my favorite bowl of cereal on a Saturday morning. WoW
Damn these ads alone are better than everything on air today!!!
He Man should be in the National Curriculum.
I just left NEW YORK when this aired. 1985
I miss those days, man
What's interesting about these is someone 20+ was tasked with trying to sell us toys, things they thought we would like. Sometimes they got it right. And sometimes it is hilariously bad
Wow - That was a blast from the past 😢
Love these vids man! But, I totally don't remember Jayce and the wheeled warriors. I somehow never saw that one, and I was a cartoon junkie back in 85, so I have no idea how I missed it. If I saw it I would totally have remembered it cause that theme song is freaking AWESOME.
yes they had a short run, I think one season, but i remember getting the toys, and wondering why none of the cartoon characters were on the toys except the villain's; but one of my top 5 cartoon theme songs
Same here
It’s radical.
Omg! This brings back memories. I was 9 years old at the time.
I remember all these cartoons when I was a kid.
Oooooh! You read my mind! Thanks so much for this!
Hope you like it!
This is my childhood in full. Here in the bronx, my tv stayed on channel 5 every afternoon except for transformers. Man...I'm loving this 😍🤩😁😀❤
You forgot GI Joe too
@@mel-c Hasbro have it own RUclips channels for their shows
I was 15 and just started at Stevenson hs on Lafayette avenue
I hear a lot more nostalgia about Saturday morning cartoons than I do about after school cartoons. Thanks for posting.
You bet!
This is throwing me completely off because I remember watching Thundercats in 1985 as a part of the Saturday morning cartoons. I wonder if different areas aired at different times and days
@@KatieKat14 Probably so, and I can't remember any examples right off but there were some cases of certain cartoons airing both after school and on Saturday mornings.
Came for the cartoons, stayed for the ads XD Good run :D
Thanks for bringing me back to the good ol' days
I used to always watch weekday afternoon cartoons back on Philadelphia WTAF channel 29 during the summertime when they always used to show the reruns of these cartoons and then later on around September, they have new episodes and new cartoons that will come on later on in the near future.
Like being a kid after school again
really miss does day thanks for sharing great memories 📺❤💯
This is amazing!! Thank you for posting this!! Great episodes!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
"Your parents put it together!"
Parents - "Thanks"
Man Captain Crook(MCDonalds) gave me mad nightmares around this time!
he was a little creepy
I remember this. School let out at 2:30, did chores, started dinner and did my "home work". At 5pm I think little house on the prairie came on or reruns of good times, what's happening, sanford and son
Bruh! I still remember some of these commercials!!🤯🥺🤩
The good ole days, Saturdays are shit right now. I had my entire Saturday schedule on every channel for my fave cartoons.
No one pointed out that that's G1 Optimus Prime himself (Peter Cullen) doing the voiceover for the first He-Man Battle Bones commercial?!
legendary voice
Tonkas Gobot Power Warrior looks pretty darn cool. I don't know if I knew it existed back then or not.
That Wheeled Warrior theme!!
@@camcordernonsense5264 gobots were special wished I kept my small collection.
@@MoneMedia me too. My recent ones were beaters in an attempt to reclaim the good shape ones we handed off.
You notice all the commercials show all kids having fun together.
1985 Weekday Cartoon Lineup Time Stamps
0:00 opening and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
27:11 She-Ra and He-Man The Secret of the Sword
I am 51 years old, and I still chair dance when I hear the Jaycee and the Wheeled Warriors theme song.
Am I the only one that does?
classic song, could've been on the billboards.
RED FLAG ! RED FLAG !!! 0:44 "Your parents put it together." The five words every father dreads. Sometimes they try to sneak it past with, "some assembly required."
Thank you for the memories.
good lord... the fact that i remeber all this down to the statue of liberty commercial 😳
I used to love Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, I found Saw Boss terrifying as a kid. Now I find him very handsome for some reason.
lol. yes I love ww as a kid especially the toys
@@MoneMedia Something happened to all the toys I had as a kid. I can't remember that far back if I owned any of the Wheeled Warriors vehicles. I do have Saw Boss' vehicle form over on a shelf.
@@Toastymarshmallow80 yea I had saw boss, and i loved the design of it. the gold saw was nice. Check out the montage I did for ww ruclips.net/video/n0bKxXo9pQM/видео.html
@@MoneMedia Nice there is a Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors discord now as well
Great show.
The animation looks better than what's on today like thundercats roar by Victor Courtright
Those were some feel good times. Often wonder what the hell happened. Sometimes if feels like we're moving in reverse the more we move forward.
born 1978 in N.Z we got some of these commercials but not all, definitely got the cartoons though. I never got the g.i joe thing even though it was big in the play ground, i was into he-man , Transformers, smurfs and A-team but actually Dukes of hazzard, hulk and Kit car the most Knight Rider and MacGyver lol. I liked thundercats but wasn't hugely into it , 'centurions' though i loved that program
Would love to see a 1988 or1989 afternoon cartoons from the NY market, i remember Ghostbusters being on at like 430pm
hard to find weekday afternoon brodcast
Take me back to those days.
Brings back so many memories. I had the he-man battle bones collection. I had every masters of the universe ever made from 82' to 89. Every single figure, ride, castle, everything. My mom got me 2 figures a week on her payday.
lucky you!
I had a garbage bag full of Legos! It was awesome. Not so awesome on bare feet or the vacuum though.
The collector case, battle bones
He-man
These are awesome & even getting to see the old commercials seems so groovy lmao Thank you for sharing! You now have a new sub lol I’m about to share w/ my cousins too so you may gain some more lmao
Awesome! Thank you!
Whoa, kind of makes me wish I had channel 5 o.O
Uptown Chicago: awesome 👍😎
Think about it. Some kid probably between 11 14 said " Man I have to get the vcr to record my shows" . Bet he (more than likely) was so excited to get home and watch this.
This is absolutely incredible.
The Children's Television act cancelled afterschool cartoons. Congress, instead of better healthcare for children and students, Congress cancelled cartoons. 🤦♂️
Why did the announcer just slide in "your parents put it together" 🤣 Like the plastic toy is so dangerous 🤣🤣
lol
Brings back memories.
Awesome stuff !!! Can you do one for 1987?
yes if i can find a schedule for 87
@@MoneMedia you can find schedules on wikipedia or if you have some kids comics (like marvel's STAR comics) from 1987 they often advertised the schedule. If you want prime time schedules in case you plan to do sitcom line ups, check out tv tango for those for accurate schedules.
they dont have schedules for weekday local channels
@@MoneMedia sadly no but i find the ratings battle interesting. A half hour change can make or break a show. "Kid n play" is one example in 1990 it started out great but then they aired it against TMNT. And it pretty much crashed shortly after.
I was a bit surprised when my High School shop teacher started talking about SilverHawks and other daytime weekday cartoons that aired when we were in school. I guess the shop teacher was taping these toons on VHS.
Absolutely the best!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
OY! do I remember this line-up!! I was in the 4th grade at the time, and I did not get off the bus and walk into the house until about 3:30, meaning I missed Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - if memory is accurate, The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers and M.A.S.K. aired on WPIX Channel 11 at the same time weekdays, so I missed those shows, too! A year later you had Silverhawks, Ghostbusters, the Real Ghostbusters.... wow.
Those were the days.
What an awesome video. Love it all!
oh I love it thanks for uploading! the simon says commercial is the best
Superb 😊 thank you so much kind person ❤
Whoever decided this was bad for America's youth, hated America's youth.
Fucxxing Liberals! They went after the Toy Makers who used the Cartoons to sell Toys. But the Cartoons were 1st Class!
Man no wonder I always wanted McDonald's in the 80s...the commercials made it look so fun! Now McDonald's looks like a sad alcoholic adult...
Plus McDonald's was actually soooo good in 80s
In the 80's, cartoons were a means to sell toys where they put the characters in animated stories.
So what.
It was fun and got our imagination going.
Better then the commie bs we got now thanks to the kenyan and some loud idiot moms.
