About Divya Tate
• Cycling since 1992, touring, commuting, got into long distance cycling 4 years ago with the first brevet to be held in India.
• Ultra Distance Endurance Cycling also called Randonneuring since 2010. Randonneuring or Riding Brevets, that are self supported 200, 300, 400 and 600 km time controlled rides.
• India’s first SR - Super Randonneusse (Female) and only female participant to PBP 2011. (SR - person who finishes the entire series of rides listed above, in a year.)
• Also the first Female Double SR in India, by completing the entire series again in Jan 2013.
• India’s National Representative to Audax Club Parisien which authorizes Brevets worldwide. Under her management, the Audax India organisation has grown to over 80 cities in India.
• Have conducted 13 Ultracycling races of 600 to 1750 kms, under the Inspire India banner between feb 2014 and jan 2019
• Have just consolidated a unique Audax India Women’s club and held the first event on women’s day 8th mar 2020.
Awards
Awarded the Prix Coup de Coeur by the Audax Club Parisien at the Paris Brest Paris Aug 2015 award ceremony in a gathering of 6000 cyclists from 50 countries.
Awarded Radio 1 Pune Super Woman Award in Dec 2015
Awarded the FICCI FLO Pune, Sportswoman of the year in March 2016
