The burner I use isn’t made to support the amount of weight I put on, luckily it’s been working out. If you are looking to purchase a burner, I suggest you get this one instead of the one I currently use. www.amazon.com...
I use a 23qt Presto Pressure Cooker, you can find them on Amazon, in hardware stores, and in farm stores (if you needed some suggestions)
I buy my grains at the local farm store.
Thanks again for your support! #mycology
Just found your channel. Great content. Keep it coming!
I love that you scavenge, I do too. Rock on sister
Thank you!!!
I'm really surprised you don't use a trivet or plate on top of your bags, especially with nsns method where the bags are expanding. You can EASILY block that hole you peaked through and blow shite up...
I roll them tight enough that I never have that problem. I’ve been doing it this way for two years and no blocks yet.
hello, can you have your opinion: I decided to use rye grain, brown rice flour! Substrate coconut fiber. Is it possible to add a first layer of perlite in the box, create a layer of coconut fiber, brown rice flour (colonized grain) shell top layer vermiculite? My idea is to have more nutrients in the substrate! My main question is when to add the brown rice flour (together with the grain in the jars, or in the substrate? I will grow in a small box for personal use! Thanks in advance 🍄❤️
I don’t have any experience with brown rice flour. So I’m not sure.
Great video... One question; how long do you wait before innoculating your grow bags?
Sorry for the REALLY late reply! I wait 5-7 days
Do you rinse beforehand? And do you add something to inoculate through or how do you add spores/mycelium?
Sorry for the late reply! I don’t rinse. To inoculate, I cut the top open and drop in agar or LC. You can buy injection ports to stick onto the bags if you don’t want to cut open the top.
Excelent info. Just wondering if you can scale up your recepie say 2000grs of dry millet and 1000ml of water? And if not what is the thought behind that. Thank you.
Yeah, you totally can! You can scale up or down based on your needs.
Do you add water to PC?
If jars what is ratio or formula
Definitely add water to the PC! About a gallon. Ratio for jars will be the same. 2 parts grain to part water. Example: 250g grains and 125g water
lol i dont think those plastic bins are free, they are back there waiting on pick up! oh well im on team free :)
I asked the store before I took them. They said to take as many as I wanted. So I guess I should assume all stores are cool with that.
