Maine!! Wow Bluegrass! Y'all keeping marking them off the list. This is the final leg. It just amazes me you've had the time, energy, and patience to keep the videos coming. We do appreciate it. Keep on keeping on
Thank you. Making the videos can be a chore sometimes but I’m so glad to have all my hikes documented and the support has been incredible! I sure appreciate you following along and posting comments!
Congratulations!!! 13 down 1 to go. Simply amazing Have enjoyed the videos thanks for continuing them. I hope to do the same in a few years, but feel like I would be overwhelmed with videoing it. Stay safe and hike on can’t wait see mama K with you
Great comment! I’d encourage you to document it, even if you can just do a weekly recap! Viewers really add so much support and you will be glad to have the footage to review in the end! Just a thought, but at least get out here if you can! Thanks
Mt Success sounds like an oxymoron. 🤔 Wondering at which point on the trail, you will get your first look at Katahdin. Is there a point in time when you will be posting closer to the actual real time? Climbing is surely challenging BUT ‘camping is IN-TENTS !!!’ ⛺️⛺️⛺️
True. I don’t think we will be real time but should be pretty close by the time we get there! I know we plan to sync up our final videos so we don’t have any spoilers out there! Thanks!
Last state!! Welcome to Maine! I was only one day behind you.... Yeah, I got lost several times there also! It is a very muddy state with lots of mud bogs.. and not many bridges either. Maine is like the Alabama of the North...just with a different accent! I have pictures of Detail climbing that same ladder! We also camped at Full Goose Shelter on August 6th.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~Maverick71~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Congratulations on reaching Maine. You guys are tough! The pond water looked full of tannins. Was there a creek nearby? I thought water would be plentiful in NH/Maine.
Great question! I’ve considered it many times but sometimes hit sections where poles help to either stabilize or push up off of. Thanks for asking! I know many who do just as you describe!
Lol, my better half is back to work for the new school year so wont be able to make the summit! I’ll keep her close in my heart until I can finally get home! 😉 Thanks my man!👍

@@randywilson1134 I sure wish I could make the trip up to Maine but it's just not quite going to work out with being so early in the school year, although I have to admit I have checked flights just in case I could figure out a way. I was fortunate to meet up three times throughout the journey, though. Thanks for all the encouragement you have provided along the way!
@@KatieC-xf2vu miss Katie thanks, I know you would if could, but have supported Bluegrass and Bandit all the way Certainly have felt/ enjoyed this great journey Bless you and your family

Most sources in this area are currently orange! Looks a little gross but taste isn’t bad! Thanks for the comment!

As you guys are climbing up the rocks with or without rebar. I wondered, why not collapse the trekking poles and strap them to the backpack?
Great question! I’ve considered it many times but sometimes hit sections where poles help to either stabilize or push up off of. Thanks for asking! I know many who do just as you describe!
