Adam I was just wondering wouldn't it of been cheaper to re-trim the leather ones in the material or is it obsolete now , Good work anyways fella love what ya bn doing
Adam I loved when u said your going back into the spray booth in the shed and when u put the seat frame on the washing line and sprayed them and make sure your other half is out that creased me bro. Keep sending out the videos for us all to watch and keep up with the good work from Rob the Welsh boy 👍🖐️🏴🏴
Great video Adam 👍🏽soon as you said copper slip all I thought was man after my own heart never enough copper slip can be added to these older vehicles bolts and nuts makes taking them apart so much easier down the road when needs be. Keep up the good work mate 👌🏽
sorry for asking but why is cloth better just have to ask i thought cloth would wear out quicker than leather seats or is it just a comfort thing or just taste
Adam I have one of them vacs pal. Ya want to spray water when the nozzle is touching the clothe an pull backwards as your spraying mate, it’ll suck the water straight out. Doing that two or three times in lines would have gave you loads better results mate
You inspired me to have a go at messing about with cars! Just bought a 2005 JCW Cooper S, no experience but hope to try a lot of work myself. Headlight restoration first, starting small 😂
@@1985J Yeah, I would start by checking the door seal first. If your car has a sunroof, i would also check the seal on that, and make sure the drains aren't clogged/blocked. Finally, if the floor/carpet area is also damp, it may be a faulty heater core/matrix.
Great work, been following your video's for a couple of years now, in the process of gathering bits to put my 01 bugeye subaru wrx back on the road, your videos give me great inspiration and are very informative, keep up the good work 👍👍👍😁
Really looking good now that cloth interior is in,loved the washing line trick (i did have a laugh) I also when and bought a vax, great compact vacuum that, keep up the good work !
Saff is getting better with every video. The cloth looks miles better 👍 You should plan in the future a subscribers meet,i think there will be a few oldschool fords turn up 👍
The grey cloth does lift the cabin in terms of brightening it up. I’m not a fan of leather seats either. They crack, discolour and are a killer in cold or hot weather. Never having another car with them after I sell mine.
Great move fitting that interior.... On the door speakers, you oughta think about era correct I. C. E. makers, Clarion, Alpine, Panasonic, Kenwood, they all used to do oem fit speakers and I noticed ebay have the classic Alpine bass tube and, we're not all men here 😂 ✌🏻
Cloth seats look much nicer, can't go wrong with recaro's. Interiors in these old fords seem to hold up much better than the old BMW's I've got. They just fall apart in E36's. You're a brave man painting those seat frames with the mrs's clothes right next to it!
Well that confirms what I need to do to remove the bum juice and fanny batter from my seats. I have to admit I stripped mine and flung the material in the wash but this seems a lot easier.
Nice work I have a merkur xr4ti here in the u.s how hard is it to find a good moonroof in the uk mine is rusted out completely ? Not many parts here in the u.s like there is in the uk for the sierras let me know if you know a source out there thanks
Haha i can imagine your lasses friend saying to her at work aww ive got that top but mine hasnt got that git big black stripe down the back wierd that lol
@@Adam151082 with your inspiration mate - i am doing it properly - do you know how annoying it is to fit a tubular manifold and turbo to a FRS mk1? Im taking front end off tonight - 🤣
The time and effort you put in to them seats, you could have easily stretched it over two videos. That’s why your channel trumps bigger RUclipsrs 👌🏻Quality as always.
First!!
Also. For those asking why I didn’t clean the carpet in the car. I done the carpet when I bought the car about a year ago 👍🏼
😁
😂

Swapping Cosworth Leather Seats for Cloth adds a sleek and cozy touch.
Awesome mate. Had a 89 Crystal blue 2wd my self when I was 19 ,, I was the envy of all me mates. Watching your vids bring back some good memories.
Top notch bum juice removal Adam 😂👌🏾
Too funny
Thanks 😂
@@Adam151082 definetly the right move going back to cloth interior buddy 👍🏾cant beat touching cloth in the summer time 😂

Another great video Adam. Really satisfying watching those seats getting repaired 👍
Car looks fantastic, sapphire Cosworth is still one of my most favourite cars 😎
Despite my reservations this car is turning out nicely. Might have to get a new toy and clean my seats. Great job Mr Smith
Cloth seats look much better mate after a good clean, love it, personally as a valeter id of cleaned the carpets while the seats were out..
Looks lovely and stock mate, top work.👍
Looks 100% better!!!! Well done mate keep up the good work

Never use on a steel bolt going into aluminium
Day and night, looks so much better 💯%
Another great "amateur" repair. This is fast becoming a must see first on my notifications. Well done Adam.
Should have done the carpets as well whilst the interior was out Adam!
They were done not long ago. Plus I wanted to drive the car 👍🏼
Good video again Adam. And yes, Cloth seats are much better than leather. Can't wait to see the Saph finished.

You can do it!👍🏼
I've got a couple of highly modified mini's, a R56 JCW & R53 JCW.
If you need any help throw me a message 👍
If you can get to grips with most tasks on a r53 then you can do anything 😊
Took the Mrs on a 1st drive and her seatbelt was soaked!?! Dry everywhere else. Assume it’ll be the door seal 😩

Ah legendary Adam. Love it makes it a fun but functional video.😂😂😂
Looks really good Adam , a lot better and original , good job 👍👍

Adam, I’m glad you made sure there were none of your clothes on the washing line before you started spraying 😂
Top job on the clean up and very nice cloth interior
I had leather in mine but I have to be honest. I completely agree with you. Especially with a white car. Waiting to hear about the breakdown
Fair play to ya on a great job done there with the seats great work 👌👌👌

Seats look quality. Mine broke down twice, clutch cable & the fuel cut off switch under spare wheel😂 loved the car. Great channel 👍
Keep up the quality videos! Can we get a driving video Adam, would love to see you out and about in it mate.
Looks amazing Adam. Please keep those wheels😊
You can use red magic marker on the seat belt buttons. Seen it on another video.
Never knew you could do thst with the foam ! On the seats

Cleaned about 25 years of Benson & Hedges out of them seats :D
Put a nice set of 6.5inch components in the front Adam
Hi why don't you try some of that trim paint on the door pulls. May be worth a go.
Should’ve done the carpets whilst the interior was out (especially being grey aswell)
