"totally original", apart from all the parts that were replaced, but seriously looks a lovely motor, great job bringing this back to it's best again.
Stunning 'E' reg blows my mind it was in such good condition out of the barn considering it had sat there for so long. Better in the barn than outside the barn. Nice work lads. If I had loads of money I would buy it in an instance.
It must have been so special picking such a car up brand new, and an occasion surely remembered by everyone who did.
What a head of Knowledge Paul has, what a GO-2 fella, he'll know every nut bolt and screw on these cars.

Hi Adam, thanks for the video. I wish we had these cars here in South Africa, as i love me a Cosworth. I doubt that i will ever own an original cossie and have to build our own replica's or old sckool Fords with imported components, which is super expensive for us. I know it's not part of this video, but you have my dream garage. Great video. 👌👍

I’m surprised you don’t get some work done on your Escos alongside Paul- you’ve helped him lots with ‘more’ exposure etc - that would be pretty cool
Paul’s passion,knowledge and attention to detail on RS500 is second to none and the story behind this car is amazing. It’s real shame the person who fitted the tyres didn’t have the same level of knowledge/attention to detail. Yellow dot should be next to the valve. It’s such an easy thing to get right especially on a car where it will probably never do enough miles for it to rub off.

Such a mint example. I can imagine someone would pay a serious amount of money for it. I'd be scared to drive it tbh and although I think cars are made to be driven, this is one that would deserve to be only trailerd to shows, with the odd run round the block on a sunny day. Paul has done a great job and clearly puts a lot of thought and care into his work.
I had a 79 Ford Escort 1600 Sport in the 80's absolutely my favourite car I owned in that past, now I have an Audi R8 spider V10.

i can assure you it wasnt , he wanted the car back on the road to use , hence the level of work not overdone , He has been diagnosed with serious health issues near the end of this project , so im shocked people will say such things when the guy is devastated that is now going to be sold

Weird how they never made a red Cosworth, even the Sapphire didn't have red one ( not including the dark metallic 4x4 ones ).

$75k tool box… to fill it add another $400k, but very unpractical as anything above head height is pointless as the hutch style of late you’ll need single row of smaller on top..
