- Haven't posted anything in a long while. This is another great intense song from the medieval music band Vox Vulgaris. The first thing that came through my mind while hearing this song for the first time was a well prepared brutal siege and the atrocities committed in it. In my opinion music is strongly related to image and story in general.
I am simply promoting good music, and have no benefits whatsoever for uploading this music.
Right now studying high middle ages legal system (Visigothic law during the post-roman period ruralization)... absolutely optimus for it!

This song reminds me of music that would play in a plague doctor's ward (if it were in a video game).

@Backedalare It's not a mistake to interpret music. This is not a novel. I am currently studying music and this musical material tells me "tension, suspense and mystery", it's a constant build-up of some sort of negative sentiment or maybe surprise, all leading to the 'explosion' at the end. I don't know what the thoughts of the composer were, but it wasn't happiness and delight. And 'delight' could be a figurative term. This doesn't mean you aren't right, of course.
It reminds me about Malfatto/the Doctor from AC Brotherhood

What does the name mean?
This song tells of no such thing as a siege. It´s a song telling of the assassination of a king/noble. And don´t try to argue, my opinions are always correct. ;)

I hear nothing of that sort... at all! It is almost a "tango" actually. A very tense and sensual feeling, like a man and woman "dancing a courtship"... like a medieval pasa double ;-)
But it is never wrong to state a preference or to interpret something personally from ones own feelings. Just a little sad that you hear this sensual music in that way.
The name of the song suggest a romantic/erotic theme.
