Hello Andrew I find this clip is from my band TRABUCOS, and the second part of this music it's a maracatu from Brasil / Recife do you now, and the melody was created on this tradicional rhythm, it's our original !!! Thank you guys!!!
@@emilioliano9411 it's not the instruments, it's the rhythm that sounds pretty influenced by contemporary music. It's ok, it sounds nice... but not completely medieval.
@@Luissergiofernandez But how can you tell it doesn't sounds medieval by the rythem. We don't have any exact record of the tempos that were used in medieval music. Every medieval track we listen nowadays is either a modern interpretation, or completly made up in modern standards. At that time music wasn't written with the complex notation we use now, and the records are even less accurate for popular music. It might not be medieval, but nobody right now can be certain for sure. It sounds great anyways.
Back in 1280’s, a fine maiden showed me her ankle while the bards were playing this song in the tavern. Good times!
Did you request Age of Aggression?
Back in the High Middle Ages debauchery was rampant. I wouldn't be surprised if after the ankle she showed even higher, my lad.
Ha! Those were the good times. Same thing happened to me, but afterwards the vikings came and basically destroyed our town.
@@nushnum Ah yes, back in the 1280's, vikings were rampent!

This song gets me dancing every time I hear it (unless I'm sick, like I am now. Then I just congestedly shimmy).
Mother, I beseech the, might you procure me the Greek Fire as the Byzantines have?

When you convinced the town bailiff you're not left handed...

Weirdly wild and cool. With some samba added to it. Nice

Yes though it sounds like someone is shitting into a bagpipe.
Heavy metal 🔥
It's all true!!!
Is this the ancestor of Samba and Bossa Nova?
P.S. And I feel this gave a lot of influences to the brazilian metal band "Sepultura"
Andrew de la Mennah ☣ jajajajajajajjajaja, in the old times, the portuguese are so funny, like the modern brazilians.

Samba is African influences

Actually i think the main " metal influence " is Black Sabbath 's ' Eletric funeral '.
Medieval Portugal :)
