Mossy is the man! Great addition to the channel
@Michael MorettiYes, Michael. then after therapy it is revealed that the dog you have been having dreams about was symbolizes the - STFU
ThatRandomGuy20 he’s so little I’m surprised he could even get on those bikes
I like Mossy. You can have him back anytime as far as I'm concerned. He's no nonsense... unlike Chris, who is almost all nonsense, but in a playful way. I'll never have either of these bikes but I like hearing what you think of them.
Mossy can properly ride a bike, well done, enjoying the reviews
By 'eck Mossy can ride for the video guy! On those tyres he's a brave bloke (and a bloody funny and friendly one too)
He comes across as a really affable chap. Like his presenting style a lot.
A bit too Geordie perhaps
How is it that the sarcastic voice in my head sounds identical to Mossy !!!!Cheers more Mossy is what the world needs, you buggars !!!!
I had a 2018 CBR650f and never understood why what most Americans had to say about it was often "underpowered and overweight". To me the people saying that either ride 1000's like a street Rossi or are track masters. For the average rider who uses a bike for commuting, fun on the weekends, and just riding with buddies. I like what you had to say about these bikes, they are very very good at doing everything well. The comfortable ride of a cruiser, the get up and go (ish) of a 600 ss, and the cornering power of your favorite twisty killer bike. Plus as far as it's completion goes it destroys them all on everything EXCEPT price. But I feel that for the average commuter or weekend rider it's perfect and everything you'd expect it to do. That's why they marketed the 650f as the city commuter with a taste of the sporty heritage Honda is known so well for.
When I went looking for videos of my first bike (Suzuki GSX 650 FA) on RUclips back in 2015 one of the first ones that came up was from this guy. Now I see him again today in one of your videos which I learned to love so much. Awesome content guys! Keep up the great work!
YES. I've been dying for a proper review of the new CB650R. Looks incredible.
For a naked a FZ07 is way better and lighter, for fairing bike a ninja 650 is way better and lighter.
@@everss02 yes but neither of them have I4's nor look this good. Also, it's got like 20hp over the both of those.
Yeah this bike LOOKS fantastic. Love the aesthetic. Had planned on an XSR700 but now I'm not so sure...
How can you even bring up a ninja 650 my cbr 650f puts them to shame
@@everss02 FZ has pogo suspension, ninja has 15 year old engine detuned now to 68hp vs the CBs 94
I love Mossy's point about power out of the corner. I have realised from those comments just how much I rely on the power coming out of a corner on my MT10, even two up! Thanks for your great test Moosy your years of wisdom transmit to us lesser beings well!
Another great review by Mossy. Really like the set up with the test and the aftertalk along with Al edited this way.
Cracking review lads keep up the good work. Mossy your the man, laughed me hoop of listening to the banter and review , please do more.
You know what lads... that 650r has struck a chord with me ... what a bloody good looking versatile machine.. I've been round the houses over the years, a plethora of litre bikes.. from all manufacturers , on my 3rd GS at present but one of those 650r's for jumping on when the mood takes me would be great alongside the long range bomber in the garage 👌🏼 ..
i love this new guy, a real oldschool biker and also funny bloke
Ay look its mossy the dogging expert
😂
Had a Cbr600f from 2001 when the came with fuel injection and the fox headlights. Basically a soft tourable relatively comfortable supersport. Freakin loved it. Plenty of speed, just over 100kph/60mph in first gear. Did my first tracks days on it.
Another cracking viddie with mossy, keep it coming guys!
Love that he has to stay on your channel Jason
This older dude is excellent. He needs his own damn channel.
Loving mossy, great honest review, hope to see him at the island this year I'll get him a pint in , first class
Great review, one of the best I've watched so far. Can't wait o get my hands on my black CBR :) Thanks for the review.
Great review!! Looking trim there Al 👍👍
Cbr650r one of the best looking bikes available at the mo
Brilliant review. Have you two sacked Sue Perkins.
Love the "ooo ya fucker" moments. More Mossy please👍👍
Wow Mossy can really ride, I just have troubles understanding what his saying at times! Glad your there at the end Al to make sense of it all.👍
Looks a nice machine us oldies need fairings with comfort
First of all thanks, this is the first proper review i see about the 650R that mentions it's predecessor, the "classic" 600f. I've owned a '97 600f and still own a 600f 2002 that's close to the end of life cause of Euro 1 normative. This seems to be kind of the same bike a little bit less power (Euro 4...), next week i will give it a test in barcelona and hopefully find the proper successor.
It's predecessor was the 2011 600f. Great bike. I had one.
650F not 600f FFS
Brilliant loving this format with the riding clips and Al and Mossy reviewing keep em coming.👍
Mossy was muffled at 9:15 while on the bike for this American. But he's quite the character and knows his stuff. I learned a lot about Honda's place and rep in the industry, if nothing else. And I LOVE that kind of background. Cheers!
Mossy is absolutely awesome!! He has a very good way with words, everything seems very natural, he has a lot of genuinely great points to make about the bike and overall he's an incredible addition to the channel! If this was Chris and Al it'd be all dick jokes and comparing it to S1000RRs and calling it slow and boring
I was polarized at first when I didn't see Statham's smiling face off the bat but this guy is fantastic. Props
What a great review. Mossy is a bloody champion. He's definitely a keeper :)
I’ve just bought the naked version on Saturday for a little commuter. It’s been great so far. 👍
How has it been for the rest of the season?
I test rode a 600f in 1996 but went for the new GSXR600 instead which had just been released. Fast forward and in my more advanced years, this CBR650R looks like my perfect bike.
great review guys keep up the good work
Foregone conclusion which one mossy is going to choose when he’s wearing leathers like those
My first bike was a 1996 CBR600F3. Absolutely loved it! About time they released a follow-up bike!
Mine was a 94 Cbr600f2
Wish I’d still got it! Great bike!
I like this new geezer
Perhaps the bbb should become a three way
what a good honest blog.
Nice one Mossy! I enjoyed this very much!
took the cbr650r for a test ride a week ago... Must admit i bloody loved it... but so many complain about it, steel frame and not powerful enough and what not... And my only personal gripe is the lack of MPG, rated only 46-48.... in my test ride I got it to 48...
great video, thanks for posting.
As a proud Honda fan boy and owner of the 21 model CBr650r, nothing beat Honda in this middle class 600cc sport tourer and naked bike, period !!!!
Full license in November and a CBR 600f with the aluminium frame will be what I get. Grandad had one back in the early 2000's and they are just so usable.
Mossy's a bloody ledge!! And another great review!! On par with your R7 one Stratham!!
nice review, the previews one, a faired hornet, was a dreaming machine, but the value was rock solid for used cbr 650 f. I owned 2 sv 650 s and i loved every bit of it. I hope suzuki will release a new sv 650 s. I can't stand why they let the new sv 650 n so much lonely without it's faired brother. This category is one of the best.
"A bit efficient, a bit Honda, which is both good and bad.." lmao haha
Good review, nice work as always chaps.
Fagan's lifestyle has finally caught up with him!
Joking aside, I didn't know of Mossy before but on the basis of thie review he's a bloody good addition to the team.
mossy lmao what a lad! hope to see alot of him love this channel
Thanks for help me solved my problem to choose between this 2
I hope you guys do a review on new 500s
11:20 gold
I've ridden both bikes and I completely agree with Mossy. The CBR650R is the better bike personally for me. Only gripe the back end on both bikes. Hopefully tail tidy will be available soon.
My first big boy bike was the original 1989 cbr 600f now i own a 2002 zx6r. This bike has got me interested though so might go check one out in the flesh
Finally a review which mentions the CBR600f as comparison. Obviously it's a new bike with better suspension and brakes, and overall newer. But might it be bolt to say the the CBR600f is less of a compromise engine wise, because the CBR650R has been designed, or tuned down, to meet A2 license 70kw regulations. So that maybe the CBR600f is actually still a better choice, unless you can 'tune' the 650R so that it isn't potentially compromised anymore. CBR600f makes around 75kw, CBR650R : 70kw
Great vid! Get Mossy involved some more please...why aye man
‘Mossy the gaper’ !!! I nearly wee’d a little bit 🤣🤣
I think they're both really nice. Still a bit beige vs competition , but to be fair if Honda keep this up the bikes will be genuinely interesting!
I wonder if the EURO 4 is removed what the HP will be ? A little more power and tail tidy it should rival an F4i. It really looks good. Great review !!
Need to see more Mossy
Mossy is great. More please!
I saw drone work, don't be afraid to get up in the air more often, whoever is piloting knows their angles to get a good shot up high. Nice work
I'm so glad Mossy keeps saying listen as I have no control over what senses I use what so.......oh look theres a bike!
👍 Great review. Mossy is a legend.
I’m a happy Honda owner & I approve this message 🏍
They should have named it F4i. Damn Honda missed out on capitalizing on the F4i name.
The F has been EFFED OFF! Brilliant!
I just chose the naked CB650r 2022 . Love the personality of a naked motorcycle . Cbr i see them more as a circuit bike and if i chose one at some point must be a 1000+ cc 🙏
MOSSY IS BACK!
The CB650R will become the modern day mid class stuntbike
Great review!
You should have the bikes in front of them when they’re talking
I sure hope I'm still riding motorcycles at this guy's age! Especially sport bikes, it takes srength and a good ability to see and react. He still has it apparently 💪🏼🔥
The UK may fall to pieces or whatever over the current Brexit chaos, but blokes like you two banteristas will still be there. You make my day, mates.
UK will fall to pieces but not because of Brexit, rather because the people who have built it are about to be replaced. UK was here before EU, but there is no UK in the Middle East or Africa.
He raises a solid point about taking a bike with 90 to 100bhp and restricting it. I never thought about how it would affect throttle response mid corner. I guess you could say an A2 rider wouldn't have the experience to corner at speeds where that would be an issue or would be riding the bike daily and therefore know its quibbles.
oooh literally thinkning of purchasing a CBR650R so this should be interesting.
Me too. Upgrading from 2015 cb300f
Great review, no messing about 👍
Fantastic video as always. Personally i would like to see more content from you guys. Just have Barron do motovlogs a few times a week. I dont think anyone would complain about that.
11:32 - Weirdly enough, same thing happend to me when I tested a (naked) CB650R from my local dealer, in a mild turn at 50 km/h, 3rd gear. At it was bone dry, scorching hot day, too. Maybe I just added a tad bit more throttle while leaning over...
Great team now 👍 mossy is the man 😁
Looking to get my hands on the CB1000R in a few months. Will you guys be doing a review of that beauty any time soon? I'm already convinced but I'd like to know your thoughts on it.
Haaaaaahahahhhaaaaa ' mossy the gaper' !! Thanks for the laugh gentlemen
I like this Mossy, funny and smart man !
Reminiscing about my 600rr now...that was a bike!
This was a riot!
is mossy any relation to luke mossy the racer, love the new addition.
This bike sounds like a proper piece of kit, a very nice compromise of all things.
For sale Kawasaki Z650 17plate 13k miles. New bike forces sale
Great review and pretty much what I expected. Yeah whilst the cb kinda falls short of other nakeds etc in its class the cbr is out there on its own. Suzuki did have the gsx650f, nice bike but didnt sell very well and the fuel injection was pants leaving off the stop. Ive always liked the look of the cbr650f and I think it picks a nice balance point for people looking to get say, like their first big bike.
" cb kinda falls short of other nakeds etc in its class "
Name another 650 naked that performs on par with the cb650r. I'll wait!
@@cagednm69 MT-07? KTM 690? The triumph street triple weighs around 180kg wet ( about 20 less than the cb) and makes 105bhp? The sv650? same story as the MT-07. Yes, none are 4 cylinders, but most make the same if not more power? and ofc triumph putting brembles on everything. I own 3 hondas, Iam not a hater, just a fan that misses the honda we had in the 90s :/
@@Aspire198 MT07(shit pogo suspension), 73hp vs CB650R 94hp
SV650 what is it 67hp(dinosaur era engine)? vs CB650R 94hp
Here's some performance charts for the CBR650R:
0-100kph - 3.4s
0-200kph - 14.0s
top speed - 248kph(indicated)
1/4 mile - 11.7s
😱😂When Sam popped that wheelie on the CBR! Sam's alright man!
The CB125R is more fun than both of them. had a go this weekend and its such a laugh to be on a tiny lightweight bike again.
Yes, we are listening 😁
Love Mossy !!!
Sir Fagan, who is this delightful gentleman? He seems to know how to push a bike 😲
Mossy! What a star 👍
Just subscribed coz that mossy had me pissing, I like a bit of humour with my reviews, watching for a second time so i can add a comment!
Been waiting for this one.. Cbr for a first sports bike/commuter potential. Are these made in Thailand like old models(suspect so} or Japan?
Lovely to see Fagan's Dad on again. More of this, please.
Was thinking about getting the CB650R for my first "big bike" since I'm currently on the CB125R but after watching this I may spring for the CBR650R 🤔
after I got my licence I got a 2013 cbr600f which has about 10% more power than the cbr650r, and found it a perfect bike, so I would recommend highly this new version, my bike was stolen so now considering a triumph street triple which has about 125hp, but I prefer faired bikes and this looks great, especially in the black version - as they say in the vid there is no competition for this bike , no-one makes mid range faired sports bikes anymore
He'll be on the payroll at 44T soon if not already, and I can't blame you. If you want an honest opinion with a bit of daft craic, Mossy is your man 🤘
