And she never was. Then wrote some unflattering, very personal things about Burt in her book, which she admitted, "Would've hurt him". I ask then, Why did you write them?! I sense she regretted this based on the very kind words she had to say about their time together, after he passed away. It's all very sad as those words came too late. Burt deserved to hear them while he was alive. He never, ever said one unkind word about her. He truly did love her.

I always get confused with Hollywood actor Burt Reynolds, and Bruce Reynolds who executed the Great train robbery.
He has changed his storysince he addressed this rumor on Johnny Carson's show about 25 years ago, At the time he said that he had TMJ Disorder -- which is an inflammation of the jaw joints. Here, in this interview, he says that his jaw was broken in a stunt fight scene. Did he forget his own narrative?
The TMJ was probably a result from the broken jaw...I have TMJ and can't imagine how bad I would feel if my jaw was ever broken.

Burt, No answer(?)
Burt did NOT have AIDS but was accused of having it, which very negatively affected his career. He had the terrible jaw injury which left him unable to chew solid food for a long time, was in constant pain, serious headaches, lost a ton of weight. Mid 80's when AIDS panic and lack of knowledge was at it's highest. He was very unfairly put through the ringer professionally, as no one wanted to work with someone they thought had AIDS.

Definitely a wasting illness. Elaborate tale. Much subterfuge. Sounds like bollocks. Love his films until Smoky and then Boogie Nights. , in the tale.
I'm not buying it. Has to be some other issue that would cause such a drastic weight loss.
