- We have been asked why we keep coming back to Sao Paulo, why we like it so much, why we spend so much time there…
Well, this video answers only a portion of why we love this megacity in Brazil…the diversity of landscape, culture, and people is part of what makes it so special. Check out our vlog as we admire Sao Paulo from Sampa Sky, Ipiranga Museum, and Ibirapuera Park.

Beautiful country
Greetings from Piatra Neamț 😃
I'm falling in love with you guys, while you're visiting Brazil and especially my hometown: Sao Paulo. I've been living abroad and your videos are virtually taking me back home, and it's awesome! Thank you guys. xoxo
🇧🇷💚🇧🇷💚
I'm from Porto Alegre, but my favorite brazilian cities are, probably, Floripa, where I live, and São Paulo, which has everything and everyone.
E gramado traíra
I'm so glad to undestand almost one hundred percent, maybe 95% percent of what you´re saying without using subtitles!
Great video. That Afro-Brazil Museum seems awesome, exactly the kind of museum I would choose to visit. Sao Paulo is scary huge (population is bigger than many European countries) - can't even begin to think about difficulties to administer such a town : traffic, public transport, air pollution, housing, safety, running water ... But also there must be A LOT of opportunities and places to visit, never a dull moment. Have fun and stay safe.
Tmlc kkk
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷come here in brasilia, goiânia,
pirenopolis and caldas nova you will fall in love with the center of brazil.🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I am solo traveling in both Rio and now São Paulo. Today I visited the Afro Museo Brasil and was blown away. One of the most diverse and beautifully displayed collections I have ever seen. The entire park surrounded the museum was amazing as well. I’m in total agreement with you, this city will definitely be calling me back.
Sou carioca.
‘Sampa’ is how locals call São Paulo city ❤, in a very caring way…like talking about a friend…you can visit São Paulo City but if you got know Sampa, then you really knew the city❤hope you got my point😊
That was a nice clip of the professional skateboarder Ricardo Dexter at Ibirapuera's skatepark!!
SAMPA is one of the nicknames of the city of São Paulo
I love 💕 São Paulo
Sampa is beautiful! Much love from Minas Gerais.🇧🇷
You were so brave to walk on that floor. Wow. Sure is lots to see and do in Sao Paulo. Keep safe, healthy and happy.
I lived practically in front of this Park for 40 years I was born on Av.Paulista... Today I am in Araraquara in the interior of São Paulo...Take advantage of these places that Sampa offers you
You should Go to the Cantareira's park. It is one of the biggests cities jungles in the middle of the grand São Paulo
My favorite place in all the city since my teen years is the CCSP, Centro Cultural São Paulo, aka Centro Cultural Vergueiro, at the Vergueiro metro Station, you guys should visit one day. Is near Paulista Avenue and Liberdade, so is possible to see the 3 things in one (long) walk day. Or even better: Walk from Paulista to CCSP and then Aclimação Park. Also, talking about museum, 2 good ones are the Masp, at the Paulista Avenue, and the Pinacoteca, near Luz Station (also Parque da Luz, Bom Retiro and Arte Sacra Museum)...
You could also goes to Paranapiacaba, a little english railway town, it's near São Paulo, in the middle of the Serra do Mar
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE SAINT ANDREW.
PARTY PARTY 🥳 🎉
Just a curiosity
The appropriate measurement of the cities population is based on the continuous metropolitan area, in this case, the city of São Paulo has more than 22 million inhabitants. It corresponds to 39 municipalities, among which the most populous is São Paulo, with 12 million inhabitants.
.
.
It should be measured this way because there are many ways to divide administrative regions around the world, and this can lead to misunderstandings. Therefore, the population of the city of São Paulo is referred to as corresponding to its metropolitan area, 22 million.
Ah, my mistake! Next time I will say 22 million
@@JetLagWarriors No problem! You guys did a great job! i'm just the "geography guy" commenting curiosities on youtube.
Abraços! ❤
@@JetLagWarriors Yes, it depends on which São Paulo you are talking about
Greater São Paulo has 12.3, but adding all the municipalities, the population almost doubles
Those glass ledges are like the ones at Willis (Sears) Tower in Chicago.
I'm work for 3 years in " Ipiranga Museum" in photo conservation laboratory , the oficial name is "museu paulista" .
Minha SP é mesmo maravilhosa...
Hey guys, nice to hear that you are planning to visit Bahia. I know that you love big cities, haha, but I would recommend you to visit Chapada Diamantina national park. There is a lot to do there from waterfalls, caves, hikes, etc.

I follow you since you did that vlog from Timisoara, which is my hometown and I really appreciate you take time to discover the country you`re visiting. Keep doing a great job! And thanks for the wonderful vlogs from Romania!
Thank you so much!! Thanks for all the support :) . We really enjoy traveling around and making these videos for you all :)
There is a Ferris wheel in São Paulo that is 91 meters high, in Candido Portinari Park next to Villa-Lobos Park, you can get there from the train station called "Villa Lobos-Jaguare", it will debut on December 9, but she is already all assembled in the park and is very beautiful.
Not working yet... probably will start at December 9th
@@rbminoru Yes, that's what I said, it's coming out December 9th, but it's all set up.
From the Jaragua Peak, at its summit, one also has a bird's eyes view of the entire city of Sampa.
I'm in one of the buildings behind you thanks for including me on your video 🤣
São Paulo ❤️
Also, you could go to Parque Caminhos do Mar. The view is amazing there.
I’m so glad that you are in my city !!!!!!
There're 2 more museums in Ibirapuera Park, MAC and MAM, also there's the planetarium and the japanese garden.
If you guys make it to São Paulo (or Sampa) again, you should definitely try the Ipiranga museum, it's gorgeous and one of my favorites alongside with Pinacoteca museum
Onde está a tradução para portugues!?
@@anacristinalemos2745 do que?

Omg, you came to my neighborhood! (Ipiranga)
Your assumption is correct: the museum did in fact was under renovation for far too long
So much to see and do....embrace every experience!🙂
You guys should try going to the Pico do Jaraguá, the highest peak in all of São Paulo's city (1135 meters high)! If you like nature and seeing the city from above, thats absolutely the place! Keep enjoying your trip, I really enjoy watching ur videos. Bbye ☀️❤
Sampa is a nickname for São Paulo City
The glass viewpoint is in the building Mirante do Vale, which was the tallest skyscraper in the city for decades, but was recently put in 2nd place by a new one in the east side. The bridge just under is the viaduct Santa Ifigenia, a beautiful iron structure imported from Belgium. Other landmark buildings are clearly visible: Altino Arantes (similar to the Empire State), Martineli, Italia, City Administration (with a tree garden on the top), the Light building, the São Bento monastery etc
Congratulations from Romania !
Amo Sp ❤
Thank you for comming
The CPF issue is so freaking annoying for tourists, but you can get one there as a gringo. It’s not too complicated. RUclips videos helped me. 😊
Love Sampa! Love my city. Love the videos you are doing in Brazil. You are showing the real city: the popular area, and the rich area. The foods. I have fun with you too. Congratulatios.
Caras, vocês precisam MUITO ir em Gramado e Ouro Preto.
Gramado já é mt igual o país deles
the Sampa Sky pictures turned out amazing.
I recommend on more museum "Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo" (it is opposite Luz station) which is also a historic and very beautiful place and don't miss the park next door, it has some beautiful sculptures.
Another nice attraction that I recommend is the São Paulo Zoo, it is very big and very beautiful, it has animals that even though I was Brazilian I only saw there.
Love you for showing more about Afro Brazilians.
Im afro brazilian adoptee love learning about my roots. You guys make me wanna go home to Brazil
You should definitely try to come here on vacation someday, I’m sure you’ll love it ❤
@@brunojeannetti4606 I been back to Rio multiply times but never Sao Paulo. I think I will love it too 😊 seeing the Afro museum I need to visit

Já fui a estes lugares. Realmente é incrível. Cidade maravilhosa.
Great photos 📸 very instagrammable indeed
U should visit pinacoteca and masp in São Paulo, extremly beautiful museums
When you come back to São Paulo I suggest you to walk through Minhocão.
I LOVE SÃO PAULO
08:21 do nada o Dexter andando de skate kkkkkkk
Yo, love your videos. Idk if you guys are interested in hiking but there is a very cool city rigth next to São Paulo called Paranapiacaba wich is kind of a historical city where you can access the Funicular Trail. PS: DO NOT go there without guidance.
Paranapiacaba is an English village in Santo André where workers of the former São Paulo Railway lived (SPR is the same train line to which Luz station originally belongs).
You know the "concrete jungle" is 22 million large. The municipality of SP is 12 million but Greater São Paulo is larger.
The Afro Brazilian museum is amazing, I am glad that you went there.
My hands were sweaty every second you were on the glass platform lol
I ❤São Paulo too!!😊
If you visit Minas Gerais you'll be amazed by the beautiful Inhotim park and museum in Brumadinho (Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Area), Pampulha , caves and the lovely historical colonial cities, And one of most celebrated regional cuisine of Brazil : Cozinha Mineira , ( Pao de Queijo, Coxinha com catupiry, feijao tropeiro etc)
I love your videos and Brazil love you guys
12:13 Guys, I know that in Bahia there are some indigenous villages that accept tourists
I know Sao Paulo is a huge city but I really feel like spending 3 weeks there is a bit of a stretch. I don't know how much time you guys have left in Brazil but I you'll definitely want to see the cities in the South of Brazil, Minas and Northeast. Right now, you are mostly seeing what all the other tourists see. Especially becasue you're a content creator it'd be really cool if you could share some unique places with people that haven't been to Brazil yet. For those that are from Sao Paulo and are reading this. I love Sao Paulo too, but Brazil is not just Sao Paulo. Feel free to reach out if you need help. I could probably give you some pointers. Cheers
Yes, Sampa is a nick name to São Paulo.

There’s a Japanese Pavilion inside the Ibiraquera park too, it’s somewhat close to the Afro Brasil Museum.
It used to be free for visit on Thursdays and R$15 in the rest of the week
Thanks for the info!👍

If you are into skyline viewing, you should visit Edifício Itália. It is a historical building and it has a balcony with an awesome view of the city. It has a restaurant where you can eat and enjoy the view but be warned, it is a fancy restaurant with fancy food (read: meager and expensive) and demand proper clothing, but if you just want to have a view, the balcony is much cheaper. I recommend going at night. You can learn more by searching for "Terraço Itália". I've heard you can't bring professional cameras to the place, so I don't know if your equipment would be allowed. But even if you can't film, I think it's still worth a visit.
The “Museu da Imigração”, located in Mooca neighborhood, tells a little bit of São Paulo history and its multicultural society. You must visit it!
Excellent personal video, São Paulo is a megatropolis, I think you would like to visit Capivari, it's another city, it reminds me a lot of Europe, as well as Curitiba and Gramado.
:OOO you were in Ipiranga!!! i live there!
Great video, guys! Enjoy Sampa, our concrete jungle.
Vcs deveriam visitar Gramado e Curitiba dessa vez.
you should go to kim kakuji temple, in Itapecerica da Serra/São Paulo
🤔
DR. STRANGE IN BRAZIL?
😆
❤️👏👏👏
Sampa os my city and I miss my home so much!!!!
Vocês tem que conhecer os outros estados. São lindos e incríveis também! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
What a memory
Damn, I was at the ipiranga museum just yesterday, and I live like 2 blocks away from the monument. Almost ran into you guys there. Hahaha. Let me know if you want help to get the tickets. And yes, your assumption about why it's always sold out is partially correct. The part that you didn't know is that people are rushing to get the ticket while it's free. It will start to be paid in a couple of weeks, so less competition trying to get it, and you get a better shot at it.
Sesc Itaquera próximo metrô Itaquera lindo lá
You should visit "Caverna do Diabo" and "Cachoeira de meu Deus" in São Paulo
