I mostly agree with your take on true rate me, but I also understand their explanation. I believe on the subreddit, if you look at their ratings chart vs yours (or wheat waffles' chart), and plotted both of them to form a normal curve distribution you'd find that the two differ mainly due to standard deviations with the subreddit's graph having smaller SDs and a higher peak.
In normy terms, the subreddit assumes a higher percentage of people to be within the average/mean meaning it takes a lot more good qualities to be rated highly and a lot more bad ones to be rated lower. That's my humble observations at least
The problem with true rate me is that they have very harsh rules for "overrating" and "underrating". They legit ban you for it. As a result they're afriaid to rate people too low or too high. I've seen hideous truecels that would get mercilessly bullied for their looks get ratings of 3.5 and I've seen people who could be models get ratings of 7. And these are the most extreme cases. 99% of people there get rated between 4 and 6. It's insane.

There is no perfect face because în real life people put more emphasize some features more than others. So isn't all obiective, some like eyes shape, others cheekbones, others lips and nose and so one.

Yeah, personally I prefer darker features like brown hair and brown eyes over light features like colored eyes and blond/light hair. I feel for most people they prefer the latter. For me tho, I consider Kate Beckinsale, Natalie Portman, and Cheryl Cole to be more attractive than any other woman with colored eyes. Francisco Lechowsky is also the best looking male model to me of all time.

Good video. But you said you used scientific research, but how come you mentioned symetric or almost symetric faces to be a indicator of good genes? According to mike mew’s research there are no genes ever responsible for asymetry unless your born with a rare condition where the face is fucked up. Asymetry is developed by wrong habits throughout development especially childhood
I said in my first theory in the video that everyone is born with perfect symmetry but we lose it with illnesses and stuff like that
You would have to look at how the genes and environment work together. Our genes could until recently count on the environment we were born into to be consistent. With proper diet etc we develop straight teeth and proper facial development. So if you grew up in that environment you would be expected to have a symmetrical face unless something was wrong with your genes. It's only recently that the problem could be genes or environment (diet).
Slight asymmetry can also make a face attractive while a perfectly symmetrical face just looks odd

That's very probably a part of it. I have slighly asymetrical ramuses due to the fact that I have been chewing with only one side of m'y Mouth since I got a tooth extracted 5y ago.
Surgery is one very invasive option, Botox is another one, but you'd have to look for professional advice for your specific case

I dont like your take on truerateme, the thing is HOW you are looking and judging the scale, not the scale itself. TRM has a scale that doesnt state itself as the "most accurate" or the most "realistic", you are judging the trm rates with your mind in IRL ratings, they are two completely different things. The trm scale has as a goal to include 10 numbers where all the people have a place in the scale, its IMPOSSIBLE to achieve this with IRL rating scale, as you will not be able to show the scientifical looks difference between a guy like brad pitt and fracisco lachowski, at that point they are breaking the IRL scale when in fact (if you know about looks ratings) they have difference between both. You are trying to see the scale as a big "underrate", where people lower down ratings to just make people feel bad or bc they "dont get out of their basement" when in fact the goal is to assess the differences in looks of the TOP people in the world and find a place for all looks, concentrating all the normal people in the center between the 4.5 and 5.5 range, that in fact that is accurate, as people set the AVERAGENESS in looks. Nobody is selling the trm scale as THE scale people should use, IRL ratings are another story that has nothing to do with trm scale as the goal of both scales are different. IRL rating scale has as a goal in mind to assess the general appeal of people from a normal pov/standpoint, different to the trm scale where is not trying to assess the irl appeal of people and is rather scientifically judging people by their looks and puting a number for each indicidual. From the trm 6.5 you could say everyone is just top of the chart in an irl scale based on appeal and general perception, but if you know something about looks you definetely can find differences between a 7 and a 8.5 trm scale. I feel you just dont understand the goal of the scale and you are trying to dismantle it by just hating on it and saying "people in trm know shit and dont go out of their basement" when in fact, thats just a really poor argument. You can simply dont like the scale, its not ment to be use in IRL contexts as you are trying to make it seem, most trusted raters there just have as a hobbie the understanding of looks, and are not trying to measure the ammount of puss1 you get based on your looks as you do in your channel in general.
I have a similar issue with my eyelids. Both of my eyes are slightly hooded but my right eyelid will 'catch' sometimes (fairly often) on the hood and get stuck. In effect I will have one hooded eye and one eye outlined with a ring of eyelid skin at the top. It makes my eyes look asymmetrical af when it happens. Have you encountered this before?
