1) be ready for all the blame 2) convince me I am making a mistake 3) guilt trip of your life 4) be ready to get your feelings hurt 5) set firm boundaries 6) most extensive self-care 🙏👍
What stops a person breaking up with a narcissist is that potentially they could do the worse and kill you, they will definitely make life difficult and manipulate the children. It's a crap situation. If you can leave just leave !!! Do not give them a chance to stop you!
I have just broken up with my wife of 10 years. I have tried to break up a few times before but always gone back to her. Now after someone pointed out that she's a narcissist, I can hopefully prepare myself for the tough road ahead and leave her for good. Unfortunately we have kids and own a house together so she will never be out of my life
Im in a similar situation. Trying to brake-up for 3 times already. 4th time has to be successful. John you posted a comment 2 years ago, how are you doing now? 🫶🇳🇱
How has the coparent been going? I'm in the same situation where I have three kids with a narcissist I'm trying to break up with him and all things she said in this video I'm going through but I am afraid that he'll try to kill me.
Thank you so much for your videos. I just dealt with this a few days ago. My boyfriend purposefully would say things to hurt me, he'd cuss me out, punch things, get in my face, and then act completely self-aware and apologetic the next day. I feel so damaged now and I'm struggling to rebuild confidence in myself.
Hi Krystal. I'm so sorry that was a pattern for you. It's super common to have a relationship like that damage your self-worth and self-esteem. The most important thing to understand is that was a very unhealthy dynamic, and didn't represent how you should have been treated and it was not a reflection of a healthy relationship. So it's time now to take care of yourself, own your self-worth, and learn from past relationship mistakes so you don't repeat an unhealthy dynamic like that again. You deserve a relationship full of love and without any type of emotional abuse.
@@shellsjourney7069 I'm doing much better now. Sometimes it still bothers me to think that I stayed in a relationship like that for that long, but I'm glad I got out of it eventually.
Thank u for this video it's a long story I've been wanting to leave him for over 2 yrs but I'm disabled with fibromyalgia I get SSI in LA which is not enough a. Room for rent is 1000$ I do have friends but they are scared of my narc bf my self esteem and trust issues keep me from moving out we live with he's daughter and her husband and it's awkward because he's daughter is 3 or 4 yrs older than me I no longer want to be with this guy he yells at me and it seems like my happiness offends him.
Can you role play so we can see these tips played out.....you provided tips which is great.....but I am a visual learner...so a scenario/ reenactment applying these tips are most helpful.
Million thanks for a great video, I just needed it!!! Can I give my narc a chance? We have been together for 12 years, not married, have 2 kids. Now live apart for 7 months. During this time, I have been working on my self-esteem. I have set boundaries for the first time in my life last week with him. Kristin, what advice would you give to me, taking account my current situation. Again, many thanks for all your good work you have done!!!
My friend is stuck like that's what she said she's hates to be hated 🙄 I'm like ripe the bandage and she said she tried and he accidentally pushed her of the bed
