It is designed to be an alternative to a traditional search engine, linking the data generated by AI in its response to specifically curated sources such as the web, academic journals, RUclips and more. You can also discover trending and popular information using their “Discover” feature. Perplexity AI can ask follow-up questions, autocomplete search queries, and chats can be categorized into collections to help with gathering research, which AI can further curate information from.
