- By viewer request, on this week's show, I demonstrate who to make imperial and metric rulers, using your Lightburn software and your laser engraver. I hope you enjoy the show.

Kenny, GREAT!!! I am going to be making quite a few of these. I really like this project. I have lots of scrap to use up. No more hunting for a small metric rule in my shop…lol.
Glad that you liked it Paul. Thanks for tuning in and good luck on your ruler engraving.
Excellent tutorial as always ... another one of those things which may be useful in the future, even the methodology is useful and can be used in other ways 👍
I'm concerned that you are posting up stuff which I have no interest in, you never do any motorcycle, model air plane, carpet fitting etc related stuff ... I'm beginning to lose interest and may unsubscribe 😉🤣
I'll miss you Barry. 😂 Thanks for tuning in.
Nice project Ken. You should try making a ruler using your incra tools. I have made a couple of rulers for shop jigs using my incra jig. They were fun to make. I like to avoid using my computer for shop stuff. Keep making those great videos.
How did you get the measurements to be permanently marked on the stock Russ? Thanks for tuning in and for the suggestion.
I used the flat edge of a chisel against the Incra fence at each increment on my Incra jig. Then follow up with a small tip pen in each groove.
You might be able to use your TS fence. I used an Incra jig to increment the spacings on mine. Yes, it's tedious. I tend to avoid using my computer to make things
hi Kenny, I have been following for a long time. just recently your posts are all on model making and laser machines. will you be returning to scrolling and more traditional stories? if not I may stop following as the contact you are currently including is not of interest to me.
Roger, the current model building series was by popular request and once it is finished (now that I've started, I have to finish it) I will be returning to the usual programming content. I have quite a bit of different things planned for the rest of the season but I can honestly say that I don't think it will include another model build during 2024. Hang in there Roger, the old content is coming. In the mean time, there is always something to learn in every episode of the show, even if you aren't interested in the project. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your thoughts. I hope you will stick around.
That looks great, I watched, although I've not got a laser.
I appreciate your dedication to the show Mark. I hope you at least found it interesting. Thanks for tuning in this week.
Very informative video, thanks
I'm glad that you liked it. Thanks for tuning in to the show.
First to Post! I sure enjoy these shows. Take Care.
Glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for tuning in to the show.
Kenny. That`s cool! It`s so easy!👍
Glad that you liked it. Thanks for tuning in.
Nice video Kenny. Wondering why you don't use the group and ungroup icons on the menu bar instead of using the drop down menus?
The drop downs are just what I'm used to Matthew. Either one would be fine. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your thoughts. It's appreciated.
Why use drop down menus or menu bar icons ... use the G and >CMD>U keys (G and >CTRL>U for PC) keys ... so much faster 😁
Hi Kenny, as usual you rule🤣
LOL. Thanks for tuning in and for the chuckle Philip.
Thank you.
You're very welcome. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for tuning in.
