Yeah I usually just put my finger in between the tread. You can really notice when your steers are less that 4/32 of an inch. As for the drive axles & trailer tires they always tend to be of lesser quality tires since this company uses “Recaps” for the drive & tandem axles. Even if those tires have some good tread depth they’ll still rip apart fairly easily if you run something over :/
Ok cool. Do you recommend paying for your own CDL license and going to school for it instead of having a company pay for it? I was looking at CR. England trucking company to start off working.
@@anthonyquinn7803 if you have $4-$5,000 laying around then I’d say pay for it upfront and get your CDL with a Manual Truck. If you don’t have that money then a company like CRE, CRST & Swift may be some good options for you as they’re basically guaranteed jobs soon as you pass school and acquire your license. And they’ll end up paying off your tuition after a year or two depending on which trucking company you choose
@@kraphtonwheels Apex Trucking School Class A 40 hours of behind the wheel training $5,900. If you are ever riding along with another student, this does not count as your drive time. It only counts when you are behind the wheel and in control of the vehicle.
@kraphtonwheels oh okay I got trained at roadmaster drivers school. It was a 5 week training program and the way you did the pre-trip I had flashbacks to doing a week in pre-trip in the school

Hey, what about your tire tread? Do you look at that cause I noticed a lot of tires on semi trucks rip off on the highway.

What’s up man ! I got trained here at C.R. England. It was a 3 week training process and then a 3-4 week mentorship process after that
