I'm from a big family and my Dad took me on a road trip like this, just him and me, and 50 years later now I still remember that as one of my happiest memories.

Watching this video brings back memories of my dad having me help with the house we were renovating and remodeling. He was also into cars and I would occasionally hang out with him late at night on weekends watching him fix cars. Also mixing different flavors of the Slushee I used to do that all the time as a kid.

What a cool video it brings back good memories for me my dad took me on my first truck trip when I was 16 we didn't have a TV in the sleeper my dad had a 1977 mack western cruise liner back then we were hauling baby formula I think it's great that he is teaching his son the importance of hard work at such a young age awesome
I grew up going with my dad every chance I could in the truck and loved it. He was an owner operator then started driving for a company later, but the memories are there just like you and your son will have. That's awesome. My grandfather was a long hauler cross country. As he got older he did day runs. One time he took me from Boston to NYC on a run. So cool getting in to the yard in the early morning and hearing the truck start up. Dang could he drive those tight NYC streets. After a hospital delivery he stopped at the corner and had a hot pretzel man bring over one for me without getting out. LOL yes young minds.... Great memories...
