He's back Boi!! Always love seeing your crazy ass adventures bro. In case you ever do another QnA I wanted to ask How do you manage your schedule between stops and how many breaks can you take? How is the schedule different with your new company versus swift? How do you manage with food and drinks when you're out for 2 weeks or more? Do you eat out alot? Do you get a chance to stop by for supplies like at Walmart? Can you imagine it being really difficult to bring along a dog? What are truck stops like, I don't think I've ever been to one or not a big one at least? Have you ever been approached by a lot lizard? lmao
Go online fill out an application and get an appointment to get fingerprinted and your pictures taken they’ll charge you $100. It’s good to have it, I got mine and it didn’t use until my last job I need to have and thankfully I did.
This is cool man. I haven't been in the port but, You drove right by me! I'm taking my CDL class right there. Just as you passed under the second bridge at the beginning doing my skills. That road is usually pretty busy going into the port. Trucks all over the place.
If you’re going to pick up at ports get your TWIC card, these escorts charge a fortune just to scratch there asses while you work. TWIC is one off payment and lasts seven years I think. It’s just to confirm your identity so they know you are you. Don’t sweat ports, once you’ve been a few times it’s easy New to your vids, enjoyed it thanks Lots of love
The idea of a TWIC (Transporter Workers Identification Card is relatively new, im not sure if its even been around for 15 years yet...... its a Federal document. Funny thing is I once tried to use my TWIC as identication to board a flight and the TSA would not accept it as a form of Identification.... yet all the TSA agents are wearing TWIC IDs in plain sight, its actually apart of their uniform....lol..... same goes for when I lost my wallet and tried to used my TWIC and my MMD (Merchant Marines Document a.k.a. "Z-Card") to get a new Drivers License. They also denied those documents...finally I used my Passport and military ID. I just think its weird that a State issued License trumps a federal document such as TWIC or even my MMD which was accepted around the world at different ports!!!

Great watching your video diary and listening to your dialogue. I had two tips: One, journey planning, especially lane, placement, before a lane change. Being in the correct lane in good time. You made a very late, left lane change, and mentioned missing a turnoff earlier. Two, towards, the end, you had another vehicle, parallel, along your right side. An HGV,, worst still. You don't want to be sitting next to any vehicle, in opposite lanes. Especially, in your right mirror, or right lane, full stop. Don't let another vehicle sit or drive along side yours, for prolonged period's of even 5 seconds. You should increase your speed, as you're in the faster lane, and ensure, that you place that vehicle behind you, and that means, the entire length of your vehicle. This is even more imperative, with long, high sided, or view ahead, obstructing other vehicles. Crucial in bad weather conditions, especially winds, with too, high sided vehicles next to each other, that's a no, no... Slow down to achieve the same, in reverse, to place a vehicle to your left, in front of you. Tip three, just as you've produced your video diary. Look out for videos on ' Road Crafts, Advanced Driving', and of course, Advanced HGV Driving. I look forward to watching more, of your HGV Driving experience and adventures. I've tick, and clicked, all the right buttons.... 👍🏿😉🤜🏿
