We need to spread the word about this RUclips video and channel widely. It's full of facts that destroy the myth that there is a high rate of re-offense for those convicted of a sex offense.

Thanks for commenting, Janice! Yes, the more people who share it with others, the better.

They have no proof of the laws or anything else to with offenders in general but drug addicts reoffend more often

When heaven is promised to those who love their neighbor, then hell must wait for those who hate their neighbor. Wouldn't want to be you.

Powerful video! I wish I could do public speaking on this subject. Unfortunately, we live in a society that that has been fueled by the media and has been persuaded to believe such bs. I’m a father and a husband, most that have families don’t think about our own families unless they go through it!

I can relate, people got really pissed off at me on Twitter for saying that sex offenders are also people too.

All they are doing to these individuals! And now look what is happening to this world. God is angry with what this world has become. God bless these individuals. Crazy to think they made it so hard for these individuals to get work, food, jobs.. and now look all of Americans are feeling what these individuals are going through. Now they are getting a taste of what these individuals go through daily. I hope they like the taste of no jobs, no money, no food since our economy is so bad. SO’s dealt with this on a daily basis unjustly. About time the rest of society sees how it feels to not be able to live freely.

I've always said, if they can do it to sex offenders, they can do it to anyone. The social credit score is coming and the sor paved the way for it.
      " Precedence " is a real @#$%

As a convicted sex offender I am aware of two things. 1. My crime should have never happened in the first place. 2. It will never happen again. I took full responsibility for my crime. My crime was fueled by alcohol and drugs ,and I'm responsible for what my body does. Today, I am sober, and I don't use drugs. No one is in any danger from me, especially a child. And yet I've been levied by the state of Indiana, a lifetime sentence of parole, and state registry requirements. Because of this, It took me three years to find housing. I am required to register every three months and have visits with my parole agent. I can't have friends who have children. I've been ostracized by society. And I have less rights than a murderer. And I've been tagged by the state; a sexually violent predator. I've never been diagnosed with pedophilia. And I know in my heart that I am not a pedophile. These cookie-cutter laws are unconstitutional.

We have to depend on real scientific data for effective prevention and treatment and laws should reflect this.

I mean alot people who weren't reported for their crimes and some victims may unaware do the same thing that was done to them also a registry wont deter ANYONE yet they only focus one aspect that brought forth the registry in tge 1st place

The problem I find here is at best a three year study being sited post release and within the Alaska study, the second year shows a 6 to 7 fold increase. versus the first year. Then there appears to be a three year study?...the editing with this video makes it difficult which shows Alaska jump up to more than double that of the second year study shown earlier in a clip.
With this what is the five or ten year rate for repeat offenders as it's not shown here. If one wants to make a case to end a registry, it would make sense to show out at least to ten years, especially considering that the data being shown here shows increases year after year. The point of the sex registry is to protect potential victims, especially children which are the most vulnerable and can through abuse be the most affected for their entire lives.
At the same time there is this decrying of sex offenders having to deal with a registry which affects their lives moving forward. The victim has no recourse after the fact of abuse to overturn their experience or seek reform of the life changing event.

The IML makes no sense. People want RSOs to go away and stay isolated, but then pass the IML to make it so SROs can't travel. Okay then..
