People still make good movies that make me cry, but there has been less and less movie as beautiful as this one. This movie was the perfect blend of comedy and romance. Especially when you know Morgan Freeman after watching Shawshank Redemption. Or maybe I don't watch many movies as I say I would. Any recommendations anyone?

But you cannot give it all to God in order to receive it in full, as that wouldn't be freely giving it all up in the first place. So yes, indeed, the surrender has to be authentic and genuine.
Earlier in the movie, God told Bruce that he can't mess with people's free will using God's power. Free will was sacred and not to be messed with. In this scene, when God asks Bruce if he wants Grace back and Bruce says no, God shows a hint of surprise at 4:35. Most people would do anything to be with the person they love. But Bruce wanted Grace to be happy, even if it was with someone else. Above everything else, he valued her happiness. Bruce is using his free will to choose a response God didn't expect, but one that makes it clear why He loves humanity. Sometimes, they can surprise you in a wonderful way if you let them do things their own way.
First time I mistook that God's ability on Bruce was disappeared after the riot scene. Actually, the power disappeared from Bruce was after he went to the heaven and back to life.
