Very nice. I just finished a Mantua model of the Endeavour. Not as much detail, and so I suppose an easier kit to assemble. (It still took me over 30 years to get it done)
I've built this model myself (twice). Overall appearance is quite good with neat rigging. Only criticism is the brailed up sails, they never look good on a model, best left fully sheeted or bare poles.
Very nice video and great choice of music! How much did the kit cost and where did you order it? A magazine recently appeared in my country with the parts of a model of the Endeavour (1:60 I think) and I'm trying to figure out if it is worth buying or if I should just get a kit instead.
A wooden model ship is only worth what people are willing to pay, just because a model costs $500 to build does not mean you will get this amount back, much depends on how well it is built. You can make a profit, but how much depends on the market.
geoff clarke It would be better if you could share your experiences (if you have any) with other interested people, instead of writing unintelligent and stupid comments.
GxsRI9R2En0 Museum quality models up to 90" in length No less than 5 HMS Endeavours available simply ask for size. Many not on our website yet. I have models of the Endeavour so big, you can't transport them in your truck!
you glued the bloody rat lines to the shrouds ... an evil thing to do which ruins the appearance of the finish model !!!! the hull work was not so bad!
Very nice ship, very nice indeed. Great job.

Паруса с обмёткой не очень хорошо смотрятся. Надо дважды прострочить, а шов аккуратно промазать ПВА, потом вырезать. Смотрится очень хорошо
