I'm shocked you couldn't really hear other sirens that well. Like winding down you could hear a few, but not really during. I finally beat you to SOMETHING lol. Beat you twice with these new beasts. And also when I went last weekend, I think I made the better decision of going distant so more sirens were heard, but upclose is not a bad thing. Nice video as usual!
@@AWT5020 Makes sense. Gotta record them before they get overrecorded like all the other 508s. I got lucky and managed to record them before they got recorded at all.
Those old sirens have been serving moore since the famous 1999 tornado and i live in Tennessee in a town that doesn't have sirens and they want to install 5 sirens of those 508s and refurbish the older ones in the community where i live
The older sirens are more distinct, too. 8 or 12 ports can be mistaken for a vacuum cleaner or something. But an SD-10 or Thunderbolt, their roar is unmistakable
@@SavageCleaner2830 It didn’t replace anything, just there to be prepared if one of the older sirens in the area stops working and is unable to be repaired
@@johnmarklockling9113 2 new 508s were added, this being one. No sirens were replaced or turned off for now, the new 508s are to just be prepared if an older siren were to stop working and is unable to be repaired. They also have battery back up so they can sound in the event of a power outage
@@AWT5020 awesome. I do believe if one of Moores older sirens quits working and becomes unrepairable, there would be a boatload of people ready to buy it!
Damn, Moore really can't get enough of all these technological wonders!
Also, it looks odd to have a siren literally in the middle of a parking lot 😂

It sounds like an FS Equinox and an FS Eclipse 8. Right?
@@Jake-w3l Yeah, they’re all 8 port. Plus Eclipses and Equinoxes use the same chopper

Wow why did it have to be replaced?
@@SavageCleaner2830 It didn’t replace anything, just there to be prepared if one of the older sirens in the area stops working and is unable to be repaired
Ok Thanks Man
Did this replace a siren, or was it added just to increase coverage/volume?
