I set up slightly closer to the Thunderbolt by accident. I was going to set up right between them but ended up about 80ish feet closer to the Thunderbolt. They're both about 128db. Thanks!
Oh I’m so happy someone got this right away! As soon as I saw the 508 was installed this close to the bolt I was hoping someone would get them together. Almost reminds me of the SD-10/2001 combo in Cushing.
@@1000BT Yep. They did that so when fhe Thunderbolts become unrepairable, they already have a siren to replace it. There's another one on 4th and Eastern.
@@will09666 Yeah. They did those new 508s so when the Thunderbolts become unrepairable, they already have the replacement ready. There's nothing wrong with over coverage, especially for it being one of the most tornado prone cities in the world.
@@borkluchtalarm Same. I think after I go to 4th and Eastern, I'm going to go somewhere else (probably Crescent) then come back to Moore and find a place and get an ambiance.
It's amazing how loud the Thunderbolt is compared to the 508! They both sound really good together though. Great video as always!

@@DownToYouSirens Yeah. My next siren recording is gonna be at siren 43 at 4th and Eastern, which is also new.
The Thunderbolt and the 508 sound awesome together. Great video as always!
Thanks!
Amazing! I hope you get to 1K soon
Thanks! I hope YOU get 100 subs soon!
Nice video! These are some of my favorite sirens!
@@borkluchtalarm Thanks! As soon as I heard about these, I came STRAIGHT to here. 4th and Eastern is next.
I saw that new siren a couple days prior to your video, it was a brand new 508, and i wanna record it
Oh ok. That was it's first test.
The thunderbolt is the louder out of the two 👍👍👍
@@rossnolan2883 Yeah, but not by much. I think they're both about 129db at 100 feet, but I might've set up a tad closer to the Thunderbolt.
They find gaps in their coverage every damn day

@@GabrielCL2T22AIt's basically what Frankfurt,KY did
@@LorenLorenzen-s8h A lot of places do that.
Awesome.
Thanks!
Are the Old Sirens being removed when they no longer work
@@garyhisgun192 Likely. I doubt that'll happen anytime soon, though.
Moore Ok is way too over covered with sirens

@@GabrielCL2T22A Agreed. I have always liked overcovered ambiences, especially Moore's.
