I grew up in Baltimore learning SS and 3rd base. Cal was friggin awesome but these are some of the greatest baseball moments I've ever seen (how did he do it?)... brings back memories and, as a lifelong O's fan, Manny will be missed!!
I’m trynna get in a league I’m 13 I play 3B 1B and I can pitch but I’m over weight so my speed isn’t all there but my arm is great and my accuracy is pretty good and I think some day I’ll be able to be making plays like manny 🙂

Those One Handed grabs are insane. The ones from the 2:10 - 2:30 mark are unreal.Reynolds and Davis did have to dig a lot of throws out of the dirt, though. He's like nothing I've seen in a very long time, if ever. Plus, he can rake at the plate. Glad he's on my favorite team.

Playing first base; you should be able to scoop a one bouncer as good as you can catch a ball on the fly. All of the plays you see are hard to make running laterally or towards the plate by Manny and he guns out quick runners (Trout twice in All-Star Game). Living in Baltimore, I've seen Manny catch a routine grounder take his time and fire a rock chest high steps before the runner hits the bag. It's all about how quick you need to get the ball across the diamond and Manny does it better than anyone. (Not to mention he played SS until he was called up to the Majors so his muscle memory is used to a shorter distance.)
