  • Asia-Pacific and Florida played in the 2024 Little League World Series Championship Game. There is a special message from Wheels at the end of the video.
    Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
    If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, Professional), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
    The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
    One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
    I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

    Florida coach had a lot of haters during this title run. Personally, I think he was one of the best coaches I’ve ever seen in the tournament. Never saw him anything but patient and supportive of his players, got his boys to buy into winning it all as their destiny, coached an aggressive brand of baseball, and made the game fun for his kids. Wish every coach in this tournament could say the same.
    And then at the end, in real time with the Taipei player? I think he showed his true colors. I’m for Hinsdale, but very happy that Lake Mary went on to win it all. They represented with class.

    That was a big-league bunt right there. Executed perfectly. He was obviously well-coached, and he was also willing to put in the time to hone his bunting skills, knowing that one day that skill would be needed. Today was that day, and he nailed it.
    Also, I’d like to mention the good sportsmanship I saw after the winning run came in… I saw multiple Southeast players going to the Asia Pacific players who were having a somewhat emotional time dealing with the loss (which is completely understandable) and letting them know they played well, and to keep their heads up.
    Well-done Florida boys. Way to represent the United States with class and talent. Enjoy your victory.

    • @MosquitoValentineNH
      @MosquitoValentineNH 14 дней назад +1

      That was better than a big league bunt! I LOVE that a nearly extinct fundamental baseball skill and play at the pro level won the game- the beautifully laid BUNT! At first I put all the blame on Taiwan’s 1st baseman, then realized I think it was actually blown by 2nd baseman. While in hindsight the pitcher was best able to field it and 1st baseman could have been at the bag.. it’s the 2nd baseman who had no other responsibility besides backing up first base and should have been at the bag when it was clear the first baseman attempted field the bunt. I’m not sure why the right fielder was no where in sight either? He should have to back up first base as soon as he saw bunt.

Yepez became upset and provocative to umpire and lost 2 more in 3 inning. He still try to prove he is super hero and go to left field to catch out fly ball. Then he ran into the midfielder who dropped the ball to let Taiwan scored one more. When Venezuela finally scored in the 6 inning, it’s too late.

      This ump is fantastic. There had to 200+ pitches. If I round up to 10 missed balls/strikes, that’s 95% correct. (He didn’t miss 10 tho) His outside corner is refreshingly correct and not 6” off. His high/low was textbook. I thought the female ump did great behind the plate too. It’s possible these umps are instructed to have a liberal strike zone early/middle stages of the tourney, otherwise these teams would run out of eligible pitchers because of the number of games played in such a short time.
