Had the same car…2012 sedan, black, Recaros auto and roof. Was amazing and quite reliable. Weak links on them was the supercharger ( GM warranty’s them to 125k miles) and the rear ends. Other than that I had a lot of fun with it. I now have a 19 V3. The V3 generation kicked it up several notches. Best car I’ve owned!
I'd agree. If I was as baller as you I'd probably choose v3, but the v2 has always held a special place in my heart. The v2 looks so perfectly subtly aggressive where the v3 just doesn't make me feel that way as much. Everything else about the v3 is amazing though. Interior on the v3 and engine are almost perfect IMO. V2 is just like that subtle diamond in the ruff. Both great cars. I'd love to own either one. What is your least favorite thing about both versions?
I’m looking to buy one right now and I think this is the video that sends me over the edge, you can get them for under 30 grand right now and you just can’t beat that SC whine
This was a good review that I had not seen. I own a 2011 CTS-V with a CAI and Corsa exhaust. It still blows my mind. I almost bought a 2016 Gen 3 CTS-V but just couldn't justify the price for the slight performance gain.( LT4 is awesome, but a few tenths of a second in the quarter, and slightly higher top speed that I will never see?) I do like the V3 styling and upgraded interior, but not worth the money to me. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed watching it for a car I've owned and loved for 5 years. Subscribed!
I watch any ctsv content , good review too. My heart dropped when you matted it and auto downshift tho 🙁 we don’t do that with the 6l90, those 900hp will burn those clutch packs instantly.

Under 30? That's a bargain for this. That's like 10 year old Tacoma prices lol.
My 2013 V is for sale now on Autotrader.
Where are you finding one for under 30?!!
I wouldn't even consider one for "under 39k". It would be crap.@@tyriebarnes6164
@@tyriebarnes6164man lmk😂😂😂I’m looking at them around 38k plus for a v2 w like 40k miles

would it be worth the money to buy a 2011-2012 CTS-V in 2023?
@@01groundzeroabsolutely, especially if manual. Cars like this will not be built again.
I like the gen 2 styling much better!
I love your example using halo 1 & 2 to compare it to the Cts-v gens! lol
Damn, he's even made me kinda want the 2nd gen CTS-V a little. And I am really not a heavy car or V8 guy.
Great interview Tec1😊
I have a stock 2010 sedan V love it! With no moonroof too!
Now that's how you do an infotainment screen.

Love it
A 10 year old car
And? I love the variety of his cars
Sweet looking ride, always nice to see a 200 mph a speedometer as well. Not your average Cadillac for sure.
too small...
No tuners but yours truly? Are you implying you tuned the car?
