1. Anti Slip Ladder
To help stop you from slipping on a step stool or ladder, add a line of hot glue to the steps. For extra grip, hot glue on a strip of sandpaper.
2. Fit Scissor Handles To Size
To avoid the handle of scissors rubbing against your thumb, apply a thin layer of hot glue to the inside. The added cushioning will allow the scissors to fit more snug and stop the friction.
3. Brush Cleaner
Onto a plastic clip board, hot glue on a variation of different lines and patterns, until the entire board is covered. Run under a tap while rubbing your dirty brushes up and down the patterns. It will help get all the paint or makeup out of all of the bristles.
4. Ring Sizer
If your ring is slightly too large for your finger, add a very small glob of hot glue to the inside. Wait until dried to put back on.
5. Rug Grip
Use hot glue to make your rug or mat anti-slip. Add small dots of hot glue, right up the the edges to the underside.
6. Erasers
Apply hot glue to the ends of your pencils to create handy erasers.
7. Coat Hanger Grip
Add squiggly lines the all sides of your coat hanger. It will help clothes from not slipping right off.

Emily Wagner there are other things that work much better.
Basic white bread or a makeup sponge (not dish cleaning sponge btw) work quite well.
Maybe not if you are creating an intricate drawing but to erase small things.
Also depends on the kind of pencil used. Too soft pencils smear even with a decent eraser.

Seems like 2 hacks, just repeated in different applications...you want grip on a stepladder? Put glue on it. You want grip on a coat hanger, put glue on it. You want grip on a rug? Put glue on it. We get the picture...but that's not 7 hacks.

Lucifer Alpha You could use coloured gluesticks to avoid it looking dirty or dusty (maybe gray or black could be better?) and trying to make the lines a little more even if you want to and have the patience.
Stop clothes from falling from your clothing hanger by literally hot glueing the clothes to them! Convenience!
