    Floods, Winds, thunderstorms, earthquakes. Hihi.

    The varying displays of the power of nature are something to be in awe of and to respect - so much can go wrong so quickly - but it is too beautiful to not go and look at as closely as we can. This was a fabulous walk....so glad you took us along Wendy.

    I’m adding this hike to my to-do list for next time we go to Van Isl for vacation. I’ve felt intensely emotional at times while hiking too. Such powerful beauty is amazing! Thanks for sharing!

    What a gorgeous area beautiful waterfalls beautiful landscape a hike id love . that was quit the raging river and it only being january wow . Id hate to slip in it, I thank you for letting us join in on the hike.

      thanks Jinn, I'm grateful that I am still healthy and can get out. I will keep going as long as I can. I love it so I'm motivated to walk as much as possible.

    I'm surprised you don't use a walking stick, Wendy. Are there bears in that area?

      I use hiking poles quite often but the trail here is quite well groomed and not too hilly. There are bears around but most stay away as garbage is well secured and most campers are pretty careful about putting food away.
