If anyone ever wondered why you can charge 85-100$ hr or more with these machines, this is exactly why. Hell of an operator sir 👍🏻 . I charge 120hr just to brush hog or run the drum mulcher on my kubota svl95 . Best investment I ever made
Rewatched! This is great content on grading with a skid steer.... Love watching and listening to this process. Instant gratification for the completed result!
First video of a skid loader grading with teeth and using the spin action to fill side to side! To me, teeth just feather it out better. Great video! And great operation! Speed and use of the machine, and use of the tooth bucket for grading! Highly efficient machines with the right operators
I used to run same skid, just a little newer. I love this machine in the winter the guys would get jealous and I used to lie to them and say these things don’t have heat or ac but they in reality they have bad ass heat in there lol 😊
Very similar with how I am. Only we have areas that the dirt from the hole is not enough by far, that's when the 953 comes out, then the 289 follows to clean everything up
I just bought a machine and am trying to learn. When you pick from the pile, you seem to dump from a very high point. Is that intentional to break up the dirt clods? Thanks!
Did they add a tooth bar on that bucket or what? It doesn’t look like it’s supposed to be on there. Nice video, love watching skid steers/CTLs grade. Could watch it all day long. Is this just one big subdivision that all these videos are coming from?
Yeah this bucket was changed out to one with teeth. Used for cutting in driveways also. Thanks for watching, I have lots more videos on here and to upload! These videos come from many different subdivisions being built.
I dont understand why you were 1. travelling around with a full bucket raised up(big no no) and then 2. flicking dirt into a pile. you can achieve the same thing without good off-roll/unload technique AND while having a lower safe load.

I’m 16 and had the opportunity to clear 9 acres of small brush with my dad on a Takeuchi TL8.Very useful machines that seem like a good investment!👍

Amazing on the skid.. best I seen on grading..
Skid steers seems great for doing this kind of intricate work.
You got that right. Best piece of equipment for up close back fills and grading

How does one get into this business? Sounds very lucrative! Excellent skills on that machine btw.
Nice job
I call them Skiddy's and they're very versatile.
Solid operator
Can you do this with a 299 as well?
I just bought a machine and am trying to learn.

Why even back blade if you haven't tracked it in. Just double working it.
