f0rsaken & Jinggg vs Demon1 & Jawgemo. Great Duelists face off against each other was absolutely insane. It was a very close match, but I feel that PRX lost some momentum in the Pearl 〜Ascent, and was swallowed up by EG's momentum. Even so, really respect PRX, who has been in the sub CGRS and fought so far. Can't wait to see the full lineup of PRX with Something on Champions.

Boostio is really underrated…. His sharp AIM and calling, his insight is amazing.
He was actually underrated af before masters tokyo but people are now aware of his skills. Give him a 2 or 3 more international tournaments he will be up there with the world best IGLs

He was doing well, but there are times that he makes some really puzzling hero plays that just get him out in the open alone, particularly on 3 site maps generally like lotus. Hope these guys win against fnc.

PRX with something is gonna be so fun to watch at Champions
Something was not able to come due to visa issues, and there were few people who had high hopes, but PRX, who entered CGRS as a sub, put up a great fight so far.
EG, which was said to be the worst team in the franchise before the league began, has evolved so far and reached the Grand finals.
VCT really has a great story.
I remember people calling for EG to replace Potter as the coach too at one point. Now EG is playing in the final and can potentially win. Crazy how fast EG has progressed from the group stage in Americas to now.
Demon1 had a 68% HS rate on Fracture while having the most kills. The dude literally hits more heads than body shots.

Thank you for your hard work, PRX. PRX did a really good job. don't think anyone had high hopes for PRX when Something couldn't participate in this tournament due to visa issues. But the sub sixth CGRS is a really great player. Hats off to Cgrs really. Considering that Benkai was dropped from the starting line-up and he only had a few weeks to practice, it must have been quite a challenge to get used to this chaotic fighting style. To be honest, he is a wonderful player as a sub member. I would love to see him in competition again someday!
And Can't say enough of how masterful a job EG has done this event. They fully deserve to move into Grand Finals and hopefully tomorrow goes 5 maps, although it seems that pearls and fractures will be banned by Fnatic, so it will be a slight disadvantage, but what will happen? looking forward to tomorrow's Grand Final.

@@cheeseburgor1433 actually jinggg is not aim inconsistant but more like teamwork inconsistant. Just have a look on the split game if I remember well he was doing solo plays for nothing at the end.
Ever since the Tokyo invitational where CGRS debuted on Ascent with Fade, with the 6-man roster fashion trend going on at the time, I wanted him to shine and contribute along with the main 5, so much has changed since then and despite the general consensus at the start that he would absolutely bog the team down, he gradually rose and even lifted the team through this amazing run. It's almost poetic that the agent he debuted on would also mirror how his run would end. Props to EG as well, they looked dominant and absolutely deserving of this win, they shut down PRX's aggression so well that it would almost seem lucky that PRX would win. PRX's ascent is just filled with PTSD eliminations. Certainly one of their maps to have a backup plan on(in this case, something wasn't here with the Reyna&Harbor comp)

Go watch some PRX clips from their VCT Pacific matches and u wil understand.
prx really surpassed my expectations when it comes to masters tokyo. running with a sub on 10 days of practice is crazy. everyone (including me) doubted their win against drx, and after they lost to fnc, i doubted their ability to beat edg and nrg knowing how those teams were looking good (kangkang is the goat oper).
and somehow prx still beat these 2 teams and ngl i even doubted prx to be able to compete against eg. (i expected a 3-0) eg are just looking really good. to have pushed them to a map 5 was kinda crazy ngl
also something i noticed was that prx got ecoed wayyy to many times. whenever i saw demon1 buying a hero rifle/having knives, and boostio buying a sheriff i just knew they were gonna get ecoed. boostio is legit insane as a player

Hey guys big SEN fan here. I’m currently on the plane to TOKYO and can’t wait to see my boy tenZ at the masters. I was just looking at the major schedule and couldn’t see any SEN matches listed. Is this a mistake from VALORANT? I’ll be honest I didn’t even bother watching the VCT AMERICAS stage cause SEN would obviously qualify for the playoffs.

Cgrs had a rough start but eventually he showed up, making crucial plays here and there. Respect to the man. Also i like how he always smiles 😁
This is too close. PRX with CGRS in their line up and not Something but still made it to lower bracket final. And EG with new roster and rookies and making history. Jing vs Jawgemo was epic, Forsaken and Demon1 was a roller coaster ride, Davai with his clutches and Ethan becoming one of EG's Pillar, Mindfreak and Com was an interesting pair and not to be messed with, and of course Bostio a mad man and CGRS making miracles.
This series was a banger. I can tell this will be one of the best bo5 matches Valo will have. Salute to both players and congrats to EG for making to the Grand Finals.
Hopefully FNC and EG's matches are as close as EG vs PRX.

It's a team game, doesn't matter how many times a team makes a run they are still handicapped without their main roster. The other 4 can only do so much
I think no players (and teams) like the situation that there are subs in a match though.
Win or lose, it will be deemed as unfair advantage. Sadly, this situation happened so nothing is proven about PRX’s actual performance or for any team fighting against them.
So, personally, we need to learn to respect any team (or realistically everyone). While I think it is okay to demean others’ toxicity, I don’t think boldly demean any teams in this league would help unless you can foresee events like 9/11 or natural disasters.

Great match and performance so far by both teams. Such an intense fight where I do not expect to last to five maps. Sadly, there seem to be too many mentally-undeveloped people in the chat by both sides. I don’t think they are fans, just people who affiliated themselves as one situationally.
We really need to learn to respect sometimes. These teams have proven themselves deserved of their place in this Master already. They have beaten many competitors and showing team and individual performance befitting three best team in the world currently.
Also, if you have issues like anger management and they interfere with your daily life, please contact mental clinic near you.
Tip: if you're watching a game with a team/teams you are absolutely passionate and genuinely care about, turn off chat and focus on cheering them on. If you have friends who would watch pro val with you, bring them along, anyone is better company than trolls spamming skrossi all games in chat.
