This is the story of how Evil Geniuses went from what many consider to be the worst team in the Americas League to Valorant World Champions. We're going to recap their journey from the start of 2023 to VCT Champions Los Angeles Grand Finals and break down the game that solidified them as the best team in the world. Welcome to EG vs PRX.

I'm an instant watcher of this channel... The fact is, that these analyses have led me to IGL soooo many times in game, and ive clutched and carried just through game sense alone (I admit my aim isn't that good)...
Even my own teammates are baffled and blown away by the mind games and callouts I give, and many a times accuse me of wall hacking or stream sniping...
Its just such an uplifting feeling when u silently play 5-6 rounds, and see ur team getting mowed down, only to then provide boss tier strats and watch the same enraged and tilted teammates go into a frenzy and shout : "Yeaahhh that's how we roll.!!" or "This is OUR comeback!!" or "Now who's winning?!!"...
I just would like to thank u to everyone involved in making these videos and figuring out each and every split second decisions, just so that we can learn to navigate and process the same chaotic situations, but now in a controlled and precise way...
Ive done a lot of courses and training in coding and designing, and if not for the fact that I have already changed my career path to a Pilot, I would have offered my humble services to the Sovereign Guides team for free... Just to help them in their projects and maybe fasttrack the video production a little bit for the viewers...
Maybe after i retire, and this awesome channel is still around, I would definitely like to work with such informative and fun channels...
Lastly, my fav moment was the mad aggression of Jawgemo when he just gambled and crossed into 1 smoke after another on A site, honestly, he only got 1 pick is kinda criminal... His lurk was the best in the match if u consider the timing...

The time spent on HUDless edits in custom games to remake shots does not go unnoticed. You're doing the hard work that pays off my guy. I know it's been talked to death, and essentially canceled, but damn this game would benefit so much from a replay viewer.

Like the Skye flash at 5:27, the post up at 8:54, Astra stars at 23:45, hell, he basically had to practice the way the pros did just to get the shot at 26:50. Lots of effort that goes unnoticed due to how clean it is. You gotta remember there's no replay viewer, so setting up the same agents in the same spots really does so much good for the videos watchability, at the expense of the FUCKING GRIND from Airen. What a chad.

This is why Valorant Esports is so top tier. Only the VCTs can create such gut-wrenching, heartbreaking and pure phenomenal stories such as these. Can’t wait for next year to see what these teams have in store for us.
Ngl it's riot. Riot has been on top of the production since league days and I'm glad they were able to carry that tradition with valorant. I can only assume they'll bring this level of production once their fighting game is out

Resilience has been described as somebody's ability to use the resources at their disposal to overcome any obstacle.
I think that the resilience of every member of Evil Geniuses is unprecedented in esports. To go from the humiliation of being beaten 13-0 to the best in the world is really something you would see in a movie. So yeah, an overwhelming amount of resilience.

Ok I agree that every member of EG has this quality at an unprecedented level. But I have never heard resilience being described as somebody's ability to use resources to overcome any obstacle! I usually see it as more, strength to bear hardships and refusal to accept defeat. (Which means EG is definitely resilient too, but also this other thing you say).
I actually love your content and as i'm (or try to be) the igl in every match i play, i watch your videos to get some strats and use them in comp :)

I just found this channel and oh my gosh do I love learning from you! You explain plays exactly how I can learn them, I watch tips videos, but this has been helping better, and the entertainment value is amazing, I can watch an hour long video and you would still have my full attention

o7 to the EG team. Potter and Zikz being one of if not the best coaching staffs in the VCT. Boostio cemented himself as far more than the t2 overwatch player people counted him out as. Ethan being (arguably) the best support this year (lead tokyo and LA in assists and assists/round). The jawgfather's explosiveness and honestly just the absolute heater he went on during finals. Demon1, roty, finals mvp, and the catalyst that got almost all of this started. C0m the clutch king, and the whole reserve roster, who might of bankrupted EG but FCK THEM PICKS it was worth it. And finally That you MIBR.

I watched your many of your pro plays breakdown videos. The voice and energy through the whole video is outstanding. But I have concern about one thing in every video which is the end screen. It feels like all the excitement and enjoyment is cut and stopped in a moment. Pls don't cut the excitement like that. I don't know how but i think you can extend the audio for the end screen because the audio cut feels rough. Just my suggestion. Love your videos.❤❤

Absolutely love the story telling and editing. Your production quality is absolutely amazing for any valorant content I've ever seen.
Only editing thing I think was a little distracting/annoying was the dimming brightness to highlight the ultimate count of a players tag on the left. I think editing like a circle being drawn around their count or an overaggerated circle (imagine big to small ending in the ultimate circle beneath the player name) would be preferable.

Great work as always, but it would definitely be preferable if you could keep the winner up in the air until the very end. The video title/thumbnail and the round titles definitely gave away that EG was going to win. Not saying that the video was any less entertaining, but it would just add to the suspense and excitement value for those of us who watch valo casually and don’t tune in to the VCT Champions live.
