    In psychology there's something called the anchoring technique.
    It's used when someone has a panic attack and asks the subject to focus on specific things to calm the mind. (For example, can you name 5 things in the room you can see or name 3 things you could touch right now.) Fnatic's coach Mini litterally uses this technique during the 3-11 score to prevent his team from having a panic attack (No wonder when you are losing after being 2 maps up). He asks the team how many ults the enemy has, what abilities they uses and to focus on things you can communicate. It's amazing to see how he anchored the team and mentally got them focuses again. No strats, no screaming, no panic just absolute class from Mini!

    Mini reframing the last half of Icebox as a scrim and getting the boys to focus on comms made a huge impact. You can hear it in the 2nd half how much better the calls were and how much the talking stepped it up.

      my bf said it in the match. I was like holy its gg - the timeout or whatever happened and they started winning and then my bf said 'its a coach diff, their coach told them to play confident and focus less on the fact that its the finals' which is almost exactly what mini said in different words XD. Thats the impact of a good coach.
      Edit: also how calm he was to stabilise them, actually so good. breaking shit down and keeping them focused

    I'm sorry to say but this Brazilian crowd is f-king terrible. Just here again after the Masters 2023 and now you guys know what makes Japan so different. All the teams that played in jp reiterated how the Japanese crowd cheered on for both teams and were respectful to all the members of the VCT. Love you, Japan. Thanks for treating this team and everyone else just like they deserve. No matter what, every team puts in their efforts and cheering them on for that is the least that we can do as the audience.     When it was 3-11 I was at work, taking orders. I said to myself if I make an entire order and not look at the match until I finish, they would win the round. I was so happy it kept working but I know that it didn’t help at all with the game. Either way CONGRATS GUYS ❤
