I hope in the future gecko gets a starter deck that adds cards to really incentivize people playing a full on thriller bark deck. I really love the Halloween vibe of thriller so that’s always been a bit disappointing that his best deck build has always been at least half navy.
We are almost there, with the Moria c4 from op09. on 10 don you can play a c8 Moria, thata bring back a c4 moria and a Jigorou. c4 Moria brink back another Jigorou. And with Shadow of asgard your moria will be a 10k for the your oponent turn. with the Stage to brink back the Jigorous and Hogback to recicle the Shadow of asgard it will be anoying.
@ Yeah in all honesty, gecko should be easy to buff since the deck focuses on 2c-4c cards. If the 8c sr gets type locked to thriller and they continue to give support, I could see gecko being one of the top black decks.
How do you feel about the ST-19 Garp Blocker instead of Tashigi in the deck? Being an actual blocker and not needing to rest itself for its effect at least on the surface seems better to me (but I'm still quite new to this game)
@@artresstcgshe isn’t nearly as good, but the Hina rare from OP02 is a blocker with the same stats, and on block it stops another card from attacking. It’s also a navy card, so it is searchable in the deck.

The hina basically being a 4(8)/7k seems to go under the radar. A great stat line that is harder to remove
Was just looking for some 8.5 Moria updates. Lucci is just not fun for me to play, even when I am winning.

Tashigi is preferred since she is a 2k counter

Replacing Sabo is a tall task. I consider him to be one of the best cards in the game so there's no easy replacement.
