Came here from 'Ken's HO Model Railroading' - pleased to find more model building! Not sure why I didn't get here earlier, as have watched your railroad layouts from their outset. 👍👍👍👍👍
Since you have a mini chop saw, I think you also need a mini compressor and nail gun too ;) No need for a ladder hoist on this project. Merry Christmas to you, Sandy, Lauren and Chad.
Ken, I love miniatures, so this build is wonderful! Question: When are you going to start selling model kits of your most popular garages? 😂 Merry Christmas to you and your family! 😊
Ken, listen, stop your build project, do recovery vids, you’re going too fast and you are heading in the direction of permanent damage. You are overweight, work on that problem and on your legs and knees’ strength. You’re a great personable guy, but you’re heading in the wrong direction. Be nice to yourself, scale way down and live on your SS until you can fully recover - many months from now!
Thanks. This video was recorded about 6 months ago. Physically therapy wants me moving around so I’m starting this series. Thanks for your concern though
Ken is working well on his recovery process. He's taking in good nutrition that is aiding in the healing process, icing and elevating his leg regularly as well as going to physical therapy. He also naps when he feels he needs to. He planned ahead some of his videos knowing he would have to cut back on that. What little weight he has gained is due to not being able to move around well for months because of his knee pain which limited him from physical exercise. It will be much easier for him to lose weight once his knees are healed. The doctors are very pleased with where he's at in his recovery process.
I LOVE this!!! almost as good as seeing the original! Merry Christmas!! 🎄
Great video Ken. Love the comparison between actual and scale. So creative. Looking forward to the next vid.
Thanks

That editting is genius, Ken. Showing the actual construction and then the scale model. 100 thumbs up to that.

I was hoping I'd see that little saw from S.C. :) Merry Christmas to all, Ken.
Haha merry Christmas to you
Could you show us ripping the scale lumber sometime? That looks interesting. did you have to use finer saw blades???
Yes. I’ll try
I used to use a bench-top band saw. Thiner blade=less waste. Also a little easier than a table saw.
Hmmm, yellow glue gun... must be a Dewalt! (was waiting for he wind up noise) Merry Christmas!
Haha right

You need a lazy Susan to turn your model garage. This would be a real time saver.
Oh! That’s a great idea

Those studs are waaaaaaaaay too straight; no curves, bows, twists, wane.. Haven't seen lumber like that since the Seventies! LOL Merry Christmas!
