In April 2018 my 5th grade play was the wizard of oz and I was the with, everyone was so kind and said I did an amazing job. Brings back so many memories. Before the play I was watching this so I could get some techniques for my part as the wicked witch. I miss these times lol 😂 best school year so far for me! :)
I love the kids playing The Main Four & their beautiful singing! ("The Main Five" Including Toto) Even though she doesn't sing. But I think her voice is just as beautiful! Also liked 2:00:03, 2:00:08, 2:00:21, 2:00:35, 2:00:39 & 2:00:51
the Dorothy in the other video looked more like the role and was cute and everything but this Dorothy had such a beautiful, smooth sounding voice and really reminded me of the classic Judy Garland
I am in complete shock of how The girl who played with The witch of the West looks so much like Margaret Hamilton. Well done Pitman Casting!! The entire stage design is also incredible I have been watching this over and over again for years since this video came out.
My compliments to your Wizard/Marvel. It is hard for a high school student to play an older man, especially one who is that eccentric. Your actor did an outstanding job of making the character believable, instead of being just a teenager reciting the lines. Good cast overall.
When I was in the 7th grade, I was a munchkin for the choir, and when the Wicked Witch of the West came out, we all screamed. I was so proud of myself and still am, to this day.
It is so god how old the wizard of oz is and people still love it a lot. Great job to all the actors in the movie, they all did what they were meant to do good. And the only think sad is R.I.P all the characters
Wonderful! After being disappointed by the overhyped Wicked movie, I needed something to restore my faith in musicals. This was a delightful production, and I really liked the inclusion of scenes cut from the 1939 movie like the Jitterbug dance. Bravo!

14:03-14:35, Dorothy said things to those 3 farmhands that she didn't mean. 14:38-14:47, Dorothy still had other friends besides Toto. Those 3 farmhands that she just said mean things to from 14:03 to 14:35.
My sister played Toto and yes she had a knee brace on. She had dislocated her knee earlier in rehearsals but luckily she got a black one just in time so it didn’t look that obvious.
The other Dorothy actress is way better. The other one can sing, dance and act but this one can just only dance but not very well, they should of stuck with the other actress and not have 2 Dorothys. This is just my opinion

I thought this was incredible.....great job of channeling the original actors (all of them, but especially Dorothy and Scarecrow).

Dorothy was awesome, along with most of the others. There were a few main characters that left a LOT to be desired. Dorothy acted just like Judy G.
