- Plans for an 18th team into the competition have long been in place with Papua New Guinea now reportedly confirmed as the winners of a new license.

Use that Money to rebuild roads , health facilities & education infrastructure, Wasting money on rubgy that benefit a majority
Make the PNG Government decrease Inflation first in the Country before negotiating about PNG becoming the 18th team in the NRL......
Good investiment for future of rugby league and for young PNG people by Australian Government. Rugby League will give opportinuty to those unprivileged in the normal Education System which they could make a life out of playing rugby. Not bad!! Thank Australian people for your support and we hope this will come true.
Yeah I think it's good to have PNG rugby league team in Australia s NRL is very great because we are close friends for economic development,PNG donor for human resource development especially in education and more
Also PNG love rugby league and the 8 million people in PNG would support young people to engage in sport and reduce crime activity in PNG.

This is absolutely a very bad idea for png , which money will fund the basic services for the citizens while such million kina will be just used for only 20 men ??? insane

Look at Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. Do you know how many of them are playing right now in the NRL. They should registered their team already, but why not.?

PNG okay so who is looking after them off the field ?! Not the Australian rugby league right ?! Think about that, this team can’t beat anyone in the top ten teams in the NRL right now ?! There should be another team in South Island of New Zealand, it’s more realistic than a PNG team ,who won’t be able to keep up with the speed of play at all , good luck to them , better start training right now 💥🔥🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🎯Australian Rugby League have no idea how to promote this sport .Firstly it needs an EBA game that is of the same standard as Madden and NBA ,if not your wasting time , the biggest ordinance doesn’t know the rules , plus the game changes the rules from one week to the next !. Years behind International standards, it’s a joke!. In reality it is reasonable to believe this PNG team could be beaten by over a 100 points, playing the likes of Penrith ,bet no one thought of that , way to promote our game, they will have their heads in the sand when this happens!.
