"Great, now everybody hates us." You're the NYPD, that ship sailed while the twin towers were still standing.

Bothers me that they walked through the grass. When going on the side walk would have been the shortest rout to his car.

I like how the writers slip in bits of dialogue that show us how experienced and well-established of a cop Van Buren really is. She made that connection to the paint factory almost immediately and she was right, that's where the murder took place. She really knows the ins and outs of that city like the back of her hand, I wish they had more dialogue showing how good of a Lieutenant she really is.

Love how TV coroners can get the time of death within a couple of hours give or take 30 minutes.

Gotta love New York. There’s a dead body on top of a car covered in blood with letters painted on his chest and nobody walking by gives even a look. I know this is a show, but it’s kind of an accurate depiction of how used to everything New Yorkers are. 😂

I've been to a paint factory on Staten Island. This was back in the late 90's. They made red paint, and there was red pigment EVERYWHERE. They had an orange tabby, who was colored red from it.

I love how they always know with a pretty small time window when the victim died. Unless theres camera footage, a reliable witness, or the killer confesses, its not actually that possible lol.
