- The #Yukon River is one of the largest rivers on the planet, emerging from the glaciers of the northern Rocky Mountains, and then slowly making its way through the tundra of Yukon and Alaska. The 3200 Kilometer or just above 2000 miles, are a habitat of vast salmon populations and the river has been the backbone of the whole region for millennia. It is home to many interesting #Geography features such as far spreading meandering flood plains and a vast and beautiful delta region. Cheers

Green video and editing! I hope you keep making these
Wow, that was interesting! I am amazed to see it compared to the nile!
If i don't get a chance to travel around the world, am glad this channel is taking me. Amazing videos 🙌
Excellent, plenty of interesting facts and the video completed before I could eat 3 mints.
LOL!
You say the hydroelectric power of the Yukon river is not utilized yet. The main generation capacity of the Yukon is the Yukon River in Whitehorse at the hydroelectric dam.
one find day will arrived here with nicely
Please do a video of The Victoria Falls... It's a wonder
Putting it on the to do list
+5 faith when worked by a city
Made it…
The Rocky Mountains don’t feed the Yukon River.
Rocky Mountain mountain range does not but the rocky mountains do.
Yukon is not a Canadian Province it is a Canadian Territory
Not a Canadian making the video maybe ?
3185 km
Title says "3 mintes" instead of minutes.
Thanks for pointing that out, I fixed it now. Crazy how it went unnoticed for almost a year
So many errors.
I'm sure the native Inuit of Alaska like being called "Eskimos". Also, the Yukon is a territory of Canada, not a province!
Didn't even pronounce Klondike correctly.
@@westwoodframessigns1723I'm sure you don't like being called a woketard. Yet that's exactly what you are!
You could have spent more time about this river. 3 minutes?
Those 3 Minute videos seem to be his entire format. Yes, i agree that each of his videos could be a 15 minute video or even a hour long video essay, but thats not the intended goal
The Yukon is a territory of Canada, not a province. We don't use the word Eskimo anymore.
Also the word Indian has been replaced with First Nation
Makes you question the accuracy of the rest of the video…
The Yukon is actually a legendary GMC vehicle after which a river and territory in Canada were named.
@@vipahman… and yet GM makes that truck in Mexico…
@@vipahman Right... the same way that the city of Santa Fe in NM was named after an SUV from Hyundai🤣
Yukon is a Territory not a Province.
Lots of incorrect statements in this video lol
This video ignores that absolute importance of Salmon to the people who live in the drainage, but instead emphasizes mining and hydro dams which would continue to decimate the fish numbers in the river.
He literally states that fishing is the backbone of the people around the Yukon at 2:36
Never let facts get in the way of a " virtue rant ".@@bendixholt
@@brian13105dont forget the friendly gill nets 😂
Proof read. I will not even watch this.
I watched it, I learned several things; maybe pull your head out of your ass sometime.
