In the first story, the new wife and the ex-husband aren't allowed to adopt. That tells a big part of the story there. I imagine the social workers could smell the crazy on that woman.
Story 1: Out of curiosity, I decided to look up if there are any diseases that do actually disqualify you from adopting. What I found on a quick search is that there's none that specifically block you as long as you can actually care for the child. There can be requirements of time between major, potentially recurring things like cancer and adopting, but nothing specific. So, a disease in teenage years shouldn't disqualify the ex's wife from being able to adopt. One of the major things that does disqualify you is having a history of certain types of crimes, particularly violence against children. So, odds are that the ex's wife is lying about why they were disqualified. The way the ex's wife sounds is that she didn't pass whatever mental health screenings they have or some kind of criminal record that raised red flags for the agency.
Leave the wife that can't be a wife let alone a parent. Make sure you document everything so you can ensure the children do not get stuck with her. Let her move back to be where she wants to and protect your children. It will be better for you all if she leaves.
@@yamairad1and I bet they also interviewed OPs sons along with the people who work at the schools. She shouldn’t even have a pet rock let alone be a mom
Locked out story: She wanted the home. In a divorce, often the person who moves out gives some degree of rights to the person still living in the home. If he owns the house but he moves out until the divorce is complete, she can claim some form of rights to continue living there, even if he truly owns the property. What she was hoping as she locked him out was one of the following: 1. he gets frustrated and moves in with a friend, and she claims some form of rights to continue living in the house he owns. 2. he gets angry and does something foolish which she can get on record, giving her leverage in the divorce by claiming he is a danger to her. 3. he gets hurt or worse, and she will either see a delay in the divorce as he recovers while she has time to use his fragile state to plot, or be the grieving widow who inherits all.
Claire was never going to let Op in "soon". She let him take a walk, let him bang on the door, let him call her mom, and let her mom drive over. But suddenly when her mom arrives she opens the door and her locking him out wasnt that serious?
Story 1; I’m sorry: WHAT? “The woman who has tried to push me out of my children’s lives and replace me as their mother now wants sympathy from me and in responce i rolled my eyes. Now i feel bad” Op seriously…? NTA but…why? Why do you feel ANY sympathy to this lunatic…?
Story 1 - Yeah, the disease that disqualified them was likely her mental one. If I were OP, I'd put her on a restraining order and sue for supervised visits with the kids. I'm afraid she'll escalate the crazy. Story 2 - Sister is being a bitter Betty, and is mom's favorite. I'd go NC with them unless and until she's held accountable for her actions. Story 3 - OP should start recording his wife, then use them to sue for full custody in a divorce. She doesn't want the responsibility of being a mom, then let her pay child support and go away. THIRD marriage? FFS, OP needs to just end it now. I wonder how many other children she's dumped on chumps. Story 4 - What did OP's STBX expect? She locked OP out of his own house in dangerous weather. I hope OP changed the locks immediately and put up cameras. I would not offer her money for an apartment, she's already at her mother's house. She has no rights to the premarital asset, so her games would have gotten her nothing on that front.
Mom has made her choice now she must deal with being the free childcare to someone as horrible as her for years to come. Doubt the sis will return the favor once their mom’s health declines. Hopefully OP and her loving family will be far enough away to watch the chaos but not be immersed in
ST1: That was a long story to ask if you were the AH for rolling your eyes😂. Dealing with her, I'm surprised OP's eyes aren't permanently stuck. The ex's wife sounds insufferable.
OP .. throw all of Claire's stuff; clothes, stuff she bought/owns rightfully, etc out the front door and tell her she can take it all to either her mothers or somewhere else
Story 1: NTA. You know what will make the ex husband act right? Going back to court to the same judge who is already not here for the BS. I’m sure the judge will not be happy to find out that the wife is still being crazy and that ex is backing it Story 2: NTA. Sis is bitter but nobody told her to have FOUR KIDS EARLY.
Kind of sounds like Claire wanted to take the house even though she contributed nothing in the relationship in the last story. She said she would’ve answered, no she would not
Story 1: maybe I've heard too many of these, but I think she knew when they got together. She should've gone after a widower, not kids who have a living mom.
No adoption story: I used to be a social worker working for adoptions. Unless that woman had a highly communicable deadly disease (like ebola) there is no “disease” that would make her ineligible forever from adopting. If her “disease” was an addiction, that is completely different.
The first story: OP, clearly not the AH, but document everything and get it into the lawyers hands, cause this is going to go back to the court again, except with a clear documentation, perhaps go for full custody with supervised visits with your EX, where his wife is not allowed to interact with the children. Her clear attempts to alienate the mother is something the courts are aware of and it ongoing, is going to be an issue. Better to be prepared and ready to strike when the iron is hot.
Story 3: NTA. She's just lazy and wants a sugar daddy. I'm not working right now, and because I'm a stay-at-home wife at the moment, I handle all the cooking, 2/3 of the cleaning, half of the pet care, and my savings are paying the bills I'm responsible for. I feel like a gold-digger because my husband is working and I'm not at the moment. At least I'm earning my keep.
I was 27 with HG for 26 weeks. 4 weeks-30 weeks. I was hospitalized 2x for dehydration. It's seriously the worst. Yes age can affect it but she is ass backwards. You're more likely to get it if you are a pregnant teen over an older mom.
The lady with HG should try our family cure for any morning sickness. Take more calcium but make sure it is plant based calcium because humans cannot really absorb the other forms. My family always had really bad morning sickness and this works!
She's missing that one final screw She's simply not in the pink, my dear To be honest, she hasn't got a clue She's one card short of a full deck She's not quite the shilling One wave short of a shipwreck She's not her usual top billing She's coming down with a fever She's really out to sea This kettle is boiling over She thinks she's a banana tree Oh, dear She's knitting with only one needle Unraveling fast, it's true She's driving only three wheels these days But, my dear, how about you?

My money is on mental health, she doesn't to be well at all, she acts as like Op was the girlfriend and she the real mom.
I wonder if she has a history sugar issues. Since that can also disqualify you.
@muppetsrule1143 good point sugar, criminal record too
3rd husband: if she has a habit of running away, LET HER then hire an au pair.
Leave the wife that can't be a wife let alone a parent. Make sure you document everything so you can ensure the children do not get stuck with her. Let her move back to be where she wants to and protect your children. It will be better for you all if she leaves.
third marriage, huh, it sounds like the wife wants to be a trophy wife but keeps snagging the wrong men lol
Lazy Wife: Take the kids and file for divorce. This woman brings nothing to the table😒
Story 1: NTA. Absolute psycho.
I wonder why she doesn't qualify for adoption. (Sarcasm)

Ikr
YATA because you should let her go back to the place she wants to go. Divorce her. Make sure you can get both children.

Story 2: NTA. Sister is disgracefully out of line and mom has no right telling OP her business.
Mom has made her choice now she must deal with being the free childcare to someone as horrible as her for years to come. Doubt the sis will return the favor once their mom’s health declines. Hopefully OP and her loving family will be far enough away to watch the chaos but not be immersed in
Story 4: Bro should have called the cops. Calling her mom was going easy.
Which Claire should be thankful for in the end but she’s too horrible to care.
Absolutely! I'm disappointed that story didn't end with her getting arrested!
Story 3: NTA. I know motherhood is difficult but Sally is a lazy inconsiderate monster.
And anyone betting she only wanted Ivan in hopes to start mommy Instagram posts?
S1: The step mom is craaaazzzzyy.

S1: Was the illness she had as a teen alcoholism or opioid addiction?
Probably a mental condition.
And the dino's head goes up, and the dino's head goes down.
I don't understand how op1 didn't take legal action muuuuch sooner. "No right" to your own kids is crazy. This never should have gotten to this point.
Story 1:
NTA!
Stop being nice and take them back to court and prove she's trying to alienate your children from you.
People ask the questions that a basic toddler would know the answer too

She's coming down with a fever

She's knitting with only one needle
Unraveling fast, it's true
She's driving only three wheels these days
But, my dear, how about you?
Queen? Sort of reminds me of "I'm Going Slightly Mad."
Story 1.. OP you're an idiot for giving her the air time to flap her gums at you ....Why? oh Why? would you do that to herself 😂😂😂😂
Hi XO
Story 1, creepy behavior
Nta. Bust the door down. It is your house
