I love my LR disco 3 and still have it and drives amazing. I am very disappointed with the latest design. I don't like the backend of the car and prefer the disco 3 &4 design. I wish they kept that design and just updated the interior and front of the car. I think they use the disco 3 and 4 design on LR defender instead.😔😔
I agree, the D5 design is unattractive, particularly the rear. That’s why there are few on the roads. I have just sold my D4 due to its age, but I would certainly have bought another if they were still in production. I bought a much more expensive RR Vogue, but I actually prefer the D4. The D5 also has engine oil dilution issues.
Love this model, already got one R-Dynamic P360. I have owned the car for 27 days today, of which 21 days it has been at the dealers lot waiting for backorder parts to complete the towing system. Can’t wait to finally get it running!
Why can’t the number plate on the back be in the middle?? It drives me absolutely nuts! If it was centered, this would be on my short list because I love Land Rover😞😔 Please FIX IT!

We need an option for captain seats in the middle row just like Toyota innova. Please consider my suggestion and come up with captain seats option at middle row because it is very comfortable for premium customers. Please please do consider my suggestion.
@@soyuz281 This is true but you don't get to specify what paint and options you want. Sometimes you can get extras though, like a winch. All depends on what you value most.

That there is a good business in selling third party parts to fix that ugly butt, says a lot. For me it was the reason I did not replace my Discovery with a new Discovery at the time.
I know, it's such a shame. They just need to increase roof height in the back and make the tail lights vertical again. If they don't fix it for the discovery 6 I'm definitely going to buy a new defender when the time comes.
As I understand it LR are supposed to be doing away with the offset design of the rear tailgate because of increasing complaints about it's look.....so what has happened??

The New Defender and its design is the true successor in the Discovery series. LR just chose to give it a different name and wont admit it.
